  • Cheers from Australia

    G'day, :wave
I am from Australia & I used to talk to people on this board quite a while ago under the name granny franny. There seems to be all new people here or am I on a different board? :confused Deb was the moderator & Lindy was one of the prominent posters. If they have all gone could someone fill me in on what is going on please. ensive I am starting Atkins again (soon I hope) so I will keep in touch.

    Cheers fran :wave

Goulburn??? You're out in the sticks!

I don't think I've seen Deb or Lindy... but mind you I've only joined in April.

Haven't heard of those people, but you might send a private message to a mod to see what they know. They have their own forum and can check with other mods to see who might know them.

            Re: Cheers from Australia

Thanks for your replies. I started yesterday so hopefully I am on the way to achieving my goal. I would like to lose about 30 kilos ( I think it's about 80lbs I'll have to check on my weight conversion chart). I lost 20 last time I was on Atkins & I was feeling great but I went off the program & have gradually put it all back on.
I really want to do this now & hope with the support of my Atkins friends I can keep on the straight & narrow.
            Cheers Fran

                Re: Cheers from Australia

Thanks for your reply Finelly. My first 2 days went really well!!! The weekend was probably a bad time to start as we had a couple of family gatherings to celebrate my grandson Josh's 15th birthday on 4th July arty but I thought blow it all I have to start some time. I survived well. I had steak & salad & drank diet pepsi There were heaps of beautiful deserts but I wasn't even tempted. It's funny when you go off Atkins you forget how easy it is to be on Atkins. I have just slipped back into my old routine, bacon & eggs for brekky, fish & salad for lunch & steak or fish & green veg for tea. In between if I am hungry I eat bacon rinds or cheese cold meat etc. I have also been drinking heaps of water.
                Talk soon
                Cheers Franny
