I definitely have more energy. However, when I first did Atkins 2 years ago, I lost a LOT more during induction. It was almost a pound a day. I'm upset I'm not losing so quickly this time, yet I'm still thrilled I've lost as much as I have. I am determined to stick with it this time, no matter what.

Good for you! I'm in the same boat. I need to lose 25 lbs total. I lost 5 after the first two days, but now I believe I have water retention so I'm back up 4 lbs. I'm sticking to it and I bet in about 2-3 more days I will have dropped all of that water and even a few more lbs! Stick with it - I am for sure.
I'm here, too! But a very busy week! I have surgery on Friday so I don't know how much I'll be around the next 2 weeks. I just don't want y'all to think I fell off the earth LOL
I am new, but I am here! I have heard experiences from those STA'ers that you lose much slower the STA then the FTA. I for one don't believe that, but then I am again I am being positive today and telling myself I will lose just as fast and keep it going!
I'm here! Been busy over the past few days with the holiday and all. Hey, Debbie - good luck on the surgery! I'll be thinking of you and sending you positive thoughts.

Thanks! I'm going to hurt for awhile but it will be nice to walk pain-free when it heals. They have to remove nerves in my foot. I won't be doing much exercising for a few weeks other than going to work and home. Crutches are good for arms though, right? LOL

I'm here! Still working on that magic 10 pounds down, thanks to TOM I never quite made it to 10, but now as I eye the scale and the 9.5 loss, I am determined that todays walk and dedication will take me there by tomorrows weigh in! Yes the first bout of weightloss I had in 2003, I lost steadily and easily. Now with this new second smaller goal, its dragging. My doc is happy at the almost 10 pounds down, considering she just diagnosed me with a fatty liver and elevated blood sugar...jus' grrrreeeat!
