I just went to the grocery store and bought some hot 'n spicy pork skins [0 carbs] & a garlic-ranch dip [2 carbs]. YUMMY!
You get that cruchy sensation that chips used to give without the carbs. I always liked crunky and salty foods so this helps me...

Re: good snack idea
OH YES - I love those pork rinds - they are my one junkfood-like "legal" food that I absolutely love, but I really have to chug down the water, otherwise the salt causes major water-retention for me LOL30yo F 5'5 (166cm)

Re: good snack idea
Glad to know that drinking water helps with the sodium retention. I avoid pork rinds as much as possible because I gain 3 lbs overnight in water. Those barbeque and spicy pork rinds may have sugars, check your label. I used to buy them at Canadian Tire, really good, fresh, and hardly any hard little pieces in them. But it figures, the smokey bacon flavor came at a cost...sugar! Back to WalMart for their tasteless crap! lol
