    I got a GREAT night's sleep and felt sooo much better when I woke up. But dh was cranky (for some reason, he gets really annoyed when the cats jump all over him while he's trying to spoon their food into their dishes!) and I snapped at him and that's unusual......this MUST be TOM coming!

    I'm bracing myself to go back to the DMV this morning. Wish me luck! My best friend is going to meet me for coffee at 11, which will be a treat and also a good time to regroup after the DMV experience, I'm sure!!!

    Physically, I feel good. I'm starting to feel my waist re-emerging. A lot of people have commented that my face is thinner. I can wear a couple of shirts now that I couldn't a few weeks ago! Yippeeeeeee!

    So my goals for today are simple: stay positive, be good to myself, exercise, and eat frequently so that my blood sugar levels stay fairly stable.

    Good Morning!

    Still sore here and not able to get any exercise in. Right now going to the bathroom is exercise for me.

    So glad you are feeling better Finelly and are ready to face another day at the DMV. Gonna be there when they open? Your goals for the day sound good.

    My goals: 1. Keep eating little meals thru out the day to keep my blood sugar on an even keel (gave into a bit of your choc mousse yesterday for some comfortand to try to stop a huge sweet craving) 2. Move as much as possible as not to stiffen up too much 3. WATER WATER and more WATER. I am not getting enough in.

        Finelly, glad to hear you are feeling better and made up with DH. Terry, hope you start feeling better soon!!!

        For Thursday, my goals are to:

        1. Avoid the evil hershey kiss jar sitting in front of me.

        2. Attempt to come up with some better snack ideas (really don't want another boiled egg - not even for breakfast, but I'm so bad at planning).

        3. Get my exercise in today.

            Hi everyone!!! I am doing "OK". Feeling VERY tired from induction. I am going to prep some more food tonight, I am just not eating enough. I had 4 slices of bacon for breakfast and I have a 2 cup salad for lunch - it just isn't enough. My salad consists on romaine, cucumbers, parm cheese, salad seasoning and caesar dressing. I need to bring in snacks and snack every few hours because my meals are so small.

            Hey Sarah, I have an idea for you. How about shrimp stuffed eggs?

            1 dozen large eggs, boiled, peeled, halfed with yolks reserved
            6 ounces og shrimp, boiled, peeled, and chopped fine
            1/2 cup of mayo
            1 TBSP fresh chives, chopped
            1/4 tsp celery seed
            salt and pepper

            Mix yolks, shrimp, myo, chives, and celery seed. Salt and pepper to taste. Stuff egg whites with mixture, cover, and regrigerate for one hour.

            Servings: 24
            Prep time: 25 minutes
            Carbs: 0.5 g
            Protein: 7 g
            Fat: 4.5 g
            Calories: 70

              DMV update: YIPPEEEEEEE! I'm done! Car is registered! Lady was very nice and friendly, so I am in a terrific mood!

              HEY! What happened to the kitchen? When I left, it was full of dirty dishes. WHen I came back, it STILL was full of dirty dishes! Didn't you guys get my psychic message to clean for me?

                  checking in - for maybe the last time this week...I am taking tomorrow as a Vacation day wooo hooo!

                  I am going to join the gym across the street so I can start swimming again!

                  Then I can stop ducking the exercise threads.

                      My day is going good. Tuesday night after i got out of work, came home and the "sugar devil" TRIED to visit! I don't know where that craving came from but i sat here at the puter and argued with myself for at least a 1/2 hour about eating those mints on the counter! Kept asking myself the usual questions...is it worth it? one mint and your going to feel like crap! mentally and physically! the other side saying....i'm so sick of this...then the other side saying....after all this time your going to blow it? and then the other side saying......WHY NOT......etc! It was quit loud vocal argument!! LOL So i went directly to bed! and woke up with that craving GONE and have had a great week! I'm down another lb. I've lost inches my pants are hanging WOOOHOOOO! I'm getting about 40 minutes a day in exercising, walking, and doing some hand weight stuff.
                      Glad to hear everyone is doing well. Isn't it nice to be STRONG!! What a great feeling!

                              Finelly............ Aunt Flo showed up huh!? I know when I get cranky with DH for nothing and really dont care about how his day was the she is about to visit me. That is my true sign. I just want to rip his head off when hubby comes home ............... just for sharing his day with me at that time. Imagine what I would do if he really did something major??? Yikes!

                              V-Soup................ I have that same team on my shoulders sometimes shouting at each other. What is really great is when I begin to add to their conversation. People look at me funny when I do.

                              I managed a walk around the house and out to look at my flowers (the cause of my back pain) and putter around the house a bit so I dont stiffen up. And watch a movie dd had brought me to see. Nothing exciting.
