  • Friday exercise check-in

    1 hour on the stationary bike (omg!!!!) and 12 laps of breaststroke in pool.

    The gym had on Law and Order and it was interesting - otherwise, you couldn't PAY me to do the bike for an hour!
    Started Atkins 2d time 6/20/05

    Measuring every 2 weeks
    As of 10/31/05, losta total of 56.75 inches!

    I played tennis for an hour and a half. *gulp*

    And boy am I sore. I'm not going to be able to walk tomorrow I think! But, I'm glad I did it, and I have plans to do it again next week.

    I felt so weak though, I was spaghetti legged and armed, for sure. My poor friend was probably wondering what was wrong with me. What's wrong with me is that I'm weak! I have no strength, but on the bright side, I decided I'd add swimming to the regimen at lunch one day a week. I'm trying to schedule it so that it's easier to do.

    So fridays: tennis at ten

    Perhaps tuesdays: swimming at 11

    the rest of the week i walk

    And once my joints feel a bit better, I'll try running. although the tennis today might have helped that along, it's my muscles that hurt not my knees. yay!

        Well, I didn't sit around, but I didn't technically go out and dedicate time to exercising. But I did:

        Speed grocery shop w/screaming, kicking, 27 pound toddler in my arms

        Vacuumed all three levels of house

        Cleaned the bathroom (which I hate, I must add)

        Cleaned the kitchen

        Laundry

        Have to think I burned some calories in there somewhere, right?

          I think that speed shopping with kicking, screaming 27 lb toddler in your arms burns about 800 calories.

            LOL! I hope so! He thinks he should be able to ride in the back of the cart standing up. What a pain! I can no longer get him to ride buckled up in the front of the cart, so I end up carrying him. Ugh!
