  • need supper ideas

UGGGHHHHHH....I can't think of anything to have for supper....meat and MORE broccoli/cauliflower? I had chicken wings tonight and one h/boiled egg and water. I feel crabby now. I can hear you saying "eat more fat", but how? All I can think of is butter and I really do not feel like eating butter.

    How about a whooshie Pie?
    Shrimp stuffed devilled eggs
    grilled chicken ceasar salad
    creamed spinach and ham
beef stroganoff without the noodles (scoop it up with pork rinds)

Try checking out the recipe site here on this board and you can find lots of good recipes here:

There are lots of things to eat!! You can eat more veggies than broccoli and cauliflour.

Try making chicken or shrimp alfredo by adding chicken and snap peas (or whatever vegetable you like better) to a jar of alfredo sauce.
        Chicken Cordon Bleu
        Fauxtatoes

It is easy to get into a rut but if you do some research you can find a lot of things to make for dinner online at the sites I gave you.

I buy thick boneless pork chops and cut a pocket into them. Stuff with salsa and shredded cheddar cheese. Dip in egg and then in ground pork rinds (or parmesan cheese). Add more salse and cheese mixture to top. Bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes (takes a little longer in my oven).

You could also stir fry some chicken in olive oil, garlic and whatever other seasonings you want and serve over salad (too add in some fat).

For veggies, one of my favs is having sliced tomato and cucumber with carb free italian dressing.

I have developed a new love for cauliflower. I make faux potato salad. 1 bag of frozen cauliflower (cooked in microwave and then drained), add boiled egg, small portion of onion, fresh bacon, mayo, small amount of mustard, salt and pepper to taste.

There are so many good veggies out there. You need some variety other then broccoli and cauliflower. I love zucchini, asparagus, spaghetti squash, green beans, etc. Are you on induction, OWL??? When I'm in a rut I like to make a spaghetti squash, shrimp or chicken, and an alfredo sauce. Its always a nice treat. Its so good it almost feels like a cheat to me. I'm munching on some homemade cole slaw right now, which is nice in the summer and heat. I've also been enjoying slices of cucumber with ranch dressing since it has been so hot lately. I have the ingredients at home for a fajita salad...chicken, peppers, onions, lettuce, black olives, tomatoes, and sour cream. Last night I baked some talapia with butter melted on top and some zucchini. I could go on and on.

Its a white fish. Easy to make. I buy them in the frozen section. Sprinkle on some seasoning (I use a garlic herb mix) and bake for about 10 minutes. When I pull it out I put a pat of butter on top to melt. I think its called talapia...maybe I'm on crack...now I'm double guessing myself.
