  • I am so proud of myself.

It's been three weeks today. I've lost 9 pounds.
Although this is considerably less than the first time around - I couldn't be more thrilled. I haven't cheated once....not even with too much Splenda or anything like that.

Today - two people asked me if I'm losing weight. Yesterday, a man beeped at me as he drove by (and no, I wasn't standing in front of his car in his way!). I couldn't feel more proud of myself, and that really is all the motivation that I need to keep moving forward.

I am leaving on a trip to Barbados on August 21st. I am determined to use the next 5 weeks to the best of my ability to get more weight loss and toning.
Then, I have a wedding to go to on October 1st. I bought a size 10 sleeveless dress MONTHS ago to give me motivation to lose weight, and I'm determined to look great in this dress. Right now, 12's fit me good...but my chest size is extremely large.....that's going to be my problem point.

I just had to post that this WOE is working extremely well for me, and I couldn't be happier right now (ok....well maybe if I weighed 110 or something like that...LOL).

Yay!!! Go you! That is great!!!!!! Congrats on the loss and successfully completing 3 weeks! You are going to look awesome for your trip and the wedding! For me, the boobs seem to be the first to go. So maybe they will get smaller as you lose weight and are toning. I don't have much to begin with. I'm a big girl and cannot find any clothes that fit this area - everything is just way to big right there.

I can't stand having big boobs! No matter how much weight I lose, it never comes from there.....and I look extremely un-proportioned. I look fat, even if my waist is small because my chest is so large. And good bra's are so expensive, and wear out so quickly. If I can't get rid of them through weight loss, I swear I'm going to have a reduction in 2006.

I can relate with the big boobs situation! I had a breast reduction in 1996 ~ best thing i ever did for myself. (Other than sticking on Atkins this time!)
