So, on Wednesday I'll be going on a mini-vacation with my daughters and my mom. We're driving down to Fort Lauderdale to see my grandmother and then up to Tampa to go to Busch Gardens. I'm preparing food-wise to be covered... Tuesday is my last day of strict induction but because there's going to be WAY too many opportunities for food binging on this trip, I'm going to try to stay as close to induction acceptable foods after Tuesday as possible. I'm preparing pepperoni and cheese chips for the drives (I love to snack when I'm driving) and have purchased the atkins shakes (2 carbs) for two mornings breakfasts (staying at a hotel where all they have is Continental breakfast.) I'm a little worried about the food at my grandmother's house because her Haitian cook makes some insane food. My grandmother doesn't believe in diets, or restricting food, calories, etc because she's always been very thin. I'm going to do the best I can. Then of course there's Busch Gardens.... wow...foooooood...lots of foooooood. But I've done my research and found which park restaurants/food stands will be safe for me (salads, meat) and am going to try my hardest not to have funnel cake.... I love funnel cake. Anyone have any other suggestions/advice on staying on track for this trip? I'm firmly set on my goal and my willpower is strong... but funnelcake is whispering in my ear already...LOL
