  • Back for a Second time around!

    Hi guys....Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I am currently in the Atlanta, Georgia area ,29 yrs old, very athletic but eat the wrong things. I am back for a second time and I am definetly looking forward to keeping these ugly pounds off for good.

    I have finally learned my lesson.

    Welcome aboard! This is THE place to be, girl! We ROCK!

    Tomorrow we are finishing a two-week Tape Measure challenge. We'll probably start another one, so if you want to join, make sure you have a (free) account at mybodycomp.com and take your measurements tomorrow morning. We measure every 2 weeks.

    Don't forget to drink lots of water!!!!!!!!!

              Other than the obvious, stick to it? Just kidding with you!
              I am on my second time around, too. I quit last time because I got discouraged that I was losing as days and sometimes weeks would go by. This time, after two weeks of not losing, a couple of pounds have come off. I didn't do anything different. Those pounds were stubborn. My best advice (which I got from this board) is to stick to it. It will happen. How is it going so far??

              what the rungs mean to me:
              rung 1 - more veggies
              rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
              rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
              rung 4 - berries, melon
              rung 5 - wine -
              rung 6 - beans, hummus
              rung 7 - other fruits
              rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
              rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
              Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
              (on to pre-maintenance)

                Its only been a day Shannon, but yesterday rocked....My menu seemed to be ok if you have time check in out in the 'Check my menu' board. Also I worked out really really well....So far so good....Im trying to take it one day at time....I will weigh on Monday and let you know how I made out.....
