  • Don't forget to measure on Tuesday a.m.

    After measuring, post your success! Either total inches lost, or how many inches on each body part, or both!

    Measuring every 2 weeks
    As of 10/31/05, losta total of 56.75 inches!

      Yes, you can! And then when TOM is gone in a few days, you can measure again. ANd THAT will show you how much water retention will do to you!

        The only thing that I measured in the beginning was my thighs. It has been one month, almost exactly and I have lost (and kept off) nine pounds and a half inch on my thighs. I am pleased because I have been eating like a horse and I am never hungry!

        1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
        what the rungs mean to me:
        rung 1 - more veggies
        rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
        rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
        rung 4 - berries, melon
        rung 5 - wine -
        rung 6 - beans, hummus
        rung 7 - other fruits
        rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
        rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
        Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
        (on to pre-maintenance)

          My gawd! Eating like a horse?? I am so not eating much! I have never been this satisfied with so little food! I hope its not a big deal that I can't eat very much lately. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

            Hi Starmaker ~ i am in the same boat as you. What to do? I just haven't been eating very much at all. And i am sure that isn't a good thing...

              I feel satisfied and I know that Dr Atkins promised us all that this would happen if we followed the plan. So...I am just going to go with it. If I'm hungry...I'll eat!
