    Slim Jims and Beef Jerky...

I was wondering if anyone else snacks on these and if they are safe for induction? TIA

I am not one of the experts on this board, but I definitely will eat them. If we are travelling and we stop at the convenience store, I will grab the slim jim with the string cheese attached. I know that is probably pretty gross to some, but it keeps me out of the you-know-what...

Just be careful to read the labels. Many of them have added sugars. I think a lot of them are high in salt content also. Just something to consider. I try to stay away from them.

Not sure about induction...I tried to stay away from processed stuff while on that. However, now that I"m sorta on a variation of extended induction I snack on them all the time. Snack might be an understatement. I eat them just about every day. The little ones though...in the can. I haven't noticed any ill effects.
