Another great day here! Good day for walking outside.

Saw first thing this morning our new stickies at the top of the forum. Great reading for anyone new to the STAC forum with lots of good information and advise.

Yesterdays goal was to eat my meals and I did manage it. Im off the cream cheese and watching the cream in my coffee. Got my gallon of water in. I am trying to get it in by 3 each afternoon so I am not up all night long with trips to the bathroom.

I thought my shoulders would be sore today from scraping a ceiling but they feel good. Mostly because hubby came home a bit early and rigged up a contraption with the scraper attached to an old vacume cleaner with a dust pan underneath to catch what the vacume didnt get. It was a hoot but made that job much easier to do! He is the duct tape king!

Coffee is ready! Have a great day!

Good morning! It's a lovely day here but already promises to get very humid - ick!

I'm joining the gallon challenge and have my first bottle of water handy, though I'm still drinking my coffee.....

Terry, you can come on over and work on my house any time you like, dear! I'll provide BOTH coffee and water, lol. And we have plenty of duct tape if your dh would like to join you......

How's everyone doing? Haven't seen Kallard or Elfish or Bill post any reports recently - you guys doing ok?

Did I mention how much I HATE house work?

I get a lot done during the summer because it all goes to h*** about a month or so after I am back to work. All organization goes out the window, between meetings, school events........both of the kids and mine. The weekdends just fly on by.

I also am one of those people that doesnt do well during the long dark winter months. I suspect I have inherited my fathers seasonal affective disorder. Summer is such a boost for me.

Its kinna toasty out in my neck of the world, humid and wet, but I could smile because I'm feeling better and loving the living. Besides Sumo is on, and the Yokosuna, (top dog, best of the best) got his big butt beat twice and once by my guy....
Checked my calendar and guess what....retireing in 4 months. After 25 years with the same organization, after traveling over the world, I get to go home and be with my family for the first time in years.
Of course what did I do, we bought a beautiful motorhome and we are going to spend next winter getting it ready so we can TRAVEL. Our first trip is to go visit my new best friend and then go up north to visit Canuck in Canada. I am so excited......
We need to chat more often.
So what are the rest of you doing today.

              Re: Thursday Chat

I had a good day, despite record heat. I just finished working out and energy returned in the middle of it, which I should remember (remind me!) the next time I feel like I'm just too tired to work out.

Met the Gallon Challenge today, which is good, too! It's been a few weeks since I drank quite this much water, and I feel incredibly water-logged, which means that sometime in the next 2 hours, I will sign a lease on the toilet, lol!

How is everyone else doing tonight?

Desert, How exciting!! You are gonna have a blast in that motor home! Just think of all the places you can go.

Loser, Some days are better than others huh? But, moving an office around means exercise!!

I got my water in but didnt manage to eat again until 1:30 PM. Im having a hard time getting to breakfast. Once I get going in the morning time breezes right on by and then boom its afternoon already, Im still not hungry and I havent eaten. Yesterday lunch was a salad at Applebees and dinner was a big old... BIG scoop of crabmeat and some green beans a bit later. I did get my water in plus a small glass of diet orange with a splash of heavy cream.

Banff! Awesome! My chef boy hubby trained in Lake Louise/Banff. Make sure you go eat at the Grizzly House! We love Banff. We are about 8 hours (ish) away.
