Believe me, if I can do it, you can too. One thing that I noticed about your post is that you worked an hour of exercise into your daily routine. That is really great and don't take this the wrong way, but that is a lot to start out with. My suggestion and it is just me from personal experience, don't shoot too, too high to start with. If you aim more for a half hour, four times a week, I think you might be more likely to stick with it. I know that it what I did. Now, I am one month on Atkins and six weeks exercising. I am sure feeling great! Best wishes to you, girl.

what the rungs mean to me:
rung 1 - more veggies
rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
rung 4 - berries, melon
rung 5 - wine -
rung 6 - beans, hummus
rung 7 - other fruits
rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
(on to pre-maintenance)

Welcome, welcome! How wonderful that you are already incorporating exercise! I find that once I work out, any temptation to cheat is all but eliminated, since not only does my body feel good, but I am darned if I am going to ruin that great exercise by doing something stupid!Started Atkins 2d time 6/20/05
