  • Gosh you Guys when does the pain stop????

    Guys I have been exercising my butt off this week....But I am so sore....When will it all go away....Im so tired especially at work...and because I am an Engineer, I sit all day and my body gets really stiff.

    I have taken some L-Glutamine and also plenty of vitamins for energy.......And I try to walk around my offc some....But im feeling really worn out....Any suggestions?

    BTW.....Working out 5 days a week (days off Friday and Sunday)

    I know what you mean, I am having aches in places that I never had aches in before. Make sure that you don't overdo it...and drink drink drink that water. It will get easier. If I am really sore, I take a day off from it. Moderation is a good idea until your body gets used to it.

        I will take that advice....I was waiting for Finelly to answer me back on this Aquafit class I was thinking about taking today....Sound like fun and I can get in the Jaquzzi afterward......ahhhhhh relief

          Depending on what type of workouts you're doing - a day off might be in order. For workouts like Slim In Six, for example, continuing to work through it is the best bet - and while you're so stiff and sore every flight of stairs looks like Mt. Everest, 10 minutes into the workout and you start feeling *so* much better. It's weird, I know.

          You know your body. If you need a day off, then take one. I'd suggest taking 2 or 3 minutes several times a day and doing various stretches to keep those muscles moving. Hang in there. For me, the majority of the soreness goes away by about day 5 or 6.

          And good for you for gettin' it done!!

            When I feel that way, I take a complete day off. Sometimes my body just needs to rest and rejuvenate! I plan for one of those days per week, but will take two if I need to.

            Our bodies are going thru so much....ketosis, losing fat, new levels of exercise, deprivation from carbs...we need to listen!!!!!
