    Wow,it has been a while since I have been here,the board has changed

    Anyway,i was at my goal weight,and stayed there for a while,but slowly started going in the wrong direction with vacation,and birthdays,and everything else. Now I am almost back to my highest weight,and I am not even pregnant.

    I am giong at it again,and this time,watching the scale very carefully,well maybe not the scale,but my clothes. The weird part is that I can still fit in some of my clothes,they are just a little tight. I didn't even notice how much I had gained,until I weighed myself. I guess being kinda tall is a good thing

    Coming from someone who is all of 5' tall, it does look good to be tall! But they way the grass is always greener....

    Welcome back to Atkins and to the STAC bunch! Look around, check out the stickys at the top of the forum, they are very helpful to a second time at bat.

    Post and join in on a challenge or 2 to help you along. We have a tape measure challenge that takes measurements every 2 weeks. It really helps to see those inches disappear!

      Welcome back!

      Yep, things have changed, so have you (and we, too!) I think this particular forum is proof of the existence of a higher power, actually!

      Please check in regularly and post every day, no matter how you are doing. The hiding our faces when we are "bad" thing has GOT to go away.......the best support we can offer each other is to be honest and help problem-solve.

      We've got a daily Gallon Challenge going, so if you are in the mood to sit on the toilet for a combined total of 17 hours a day, do join up! <grin>

      As Terry said, the Tape Measure Challenge is also great. We just started the second two-week period, so go ahead and measure, record on mybodycomp.com, and we will remeasure a week from next Tuesday.

        Welcome SM....We are glad to have you here....Just remember to try and get some consistency so that way when you have reached your goal weight (and you will) you will have gotten into the habit of eating the way you should. Also will power is everything...its ok to have the occasional foods you like but just remember to have it in moderation and keep up with that exercise...

          Hi Welcome back!!!!! I am fairly new here and I just joined the water challenge, which I guess i need to still be chiggin becauseI didn't make a gallon today... oh well... tomorrow I will!!!! I hate how lbs can sneak up on you like that!!!! I lost 53lbs before and only went down one pant size!!! grrr. I too am 5'7. Anyway-Hi, nice to meet you
