  • What are we noticing?

    I thought it might be interesting to start listing the things we are noticing in our bodies as we progress on this woe.

    * When I was working out today, I noticed that the rounding of my upper arms is reducing. It's not quite a straight line from my shoulders down, but it's definately getting there.

    * My jeans are loose in the thighs.

    * I wear a men's "wife beater" tank top over my workout shorts and sports bra, and it is no longer as tight over my abdomen.

    * When I wake up in the morning, I always have a good, lean, strong sensation.

    It's ALL good!!!!!!!

    I noticed today when I was stretching....that I actually can see my calf muscles now. My face is thinner. And some clothes are getting way too big.

        Wow! This is a motivating thread. Just reading what has already been posted is exciting!

        I hope more people post the positive changes they have encountered in their weight loss/healthier living journey.

          i notice that i have more confidence and i no longer have to strech my shirts so they fit right, my jeans are fitting better and my double chin is disappearing

            1. My face is thinner

            2. My rings are spinning

            3. I can once again see the veins appearing in my hands and feet

            4. Clothes are becoming looser

            5. Food is not constantly on my mind

            6. I'm not as stiff in the morning

            7. My walks are much easier than when I began

            8. I see muscles building

            9. I am seeing the bones in my collar area again

            Just to name a few.........................

              Haven't notice any changes yet but that could be cause I just started back....But I am definetly looking forward to weighing in on Monday Morning and also in another week checking my measurements....

              But for all of you guys....That is FANTASTIC! I hope to be like you some day...

                I, too, am noticing my thighs are smaller. My jeans are looser!

                  1. I don't feel like death every morning when I wake up
                  2. I like -gasp- excersizing in the morning
                  3. my clothes feel looser and a LOT more comfortable!

                      No more double chin

                      My "woobie" night shirts that I lived in are way too big now

                      I need a new smaller woobie

                      My legs aren't rubbing together when I walk

                      Walking has become a way of life daily for me.

                      Guys are being pigs once again (wink)

                      I have more energy on stage

                      I feel sexier!

                      I look much smaller than what I actually weigh (bonus)

                        1. My pants are getting really loose in the belly area.

                        2. I can handle more physical activity without getting exhausted and out of breath.

                        3. I don't feel guilty about food I am eating, because I am eating proper food.

                        4. I'm not as tired.

                        5. Food in no longer controlling me.

                              It is a good feeling, Kat. Its been a LONG time since I was able to say that. I don't feel this overwhelming need to eat. Its great. I used to plan my days around what I was going to eat. Sad, I know. But I'm beating it and feeling much better about food and myself. It has been very difficult getting on track with this Second Time Around. However, I will not give up. And the results are starting to come through!
