  • Inches Lost

    For those of you like me on your third or more try at Low carb, take heart. I am one of the ones that does not lose weight in dramatic fashion. Today is day 28, and I have lost 6 pounds. BUT, I took my measurements, and since the second week, (I did not take my measurements when I started), I have lost 10.25 inches all over.

    I am much more motivated and committed this time. Maybe third time is a charm!!!!

    I am committed to walking on mmy treadmill every other day, 30 minutes. I did not get to walk Friday or Saturday though. My brother had a car wreck and I have been at the hospital some. I will get back on schedule today.

    Anyhoo, I just hoped that I could motivate someone that might be needing it right about now. I get alot of motivation from reading these boards and looking at the photos.

    Wow...I hope your brother is ok???

    I just bought a tape measure yesterday. I lost 7 pounds the first 4-5 days, and then nothing, and it is frustrating. Then again, I step on the scale every morning as soon as I get up, and everyone says that is a no no! So Im going to try to find time to measure today. Good for you on inches lost!!!! Doesnt that make you feel GREAT!!

      Yes, he is pretty banged up. He as a broken pelvis, possibly a broken jaw, so it is going to be a long recovery. My cousin was driving, and he has a fractured C2 vertebra. Ironically though, my cousin is doing better than my brother, because they put a Halo thing on him, and he is albe to walk around, and will probably go home before my brother. Some idiot pulled out in from of them. We hope he has insurance. He was not even hurt.

      Enough of the rant!!!!

      Keep motivated, right now I am doing OK. I have been trying lots of new recipes, alot fro Linda Sue's site. My husband doing it with me.
