  • Oh. So. Tired.

    Help, I'm tired. I'm tired to the point that just going to the grocery store yesterday and walking up 2 flights of stairs made the backs of my legs hurt. That's just SAD.

    I'm on day one of week four right now. So tired. Not sleepy, it's like there's lead in my veins and I have to drag my extremeties along with me when I move around.

    Is there anything to be done? Help! I haven't done anything out of the ordinary at all this week. Still limping so I"m not overdoing the exercise by any means. This is like induction flu tired.

    muuuuuuust goooooo tooooooo schoooooool..... It's like my body has become the teacher's voice from Peanuts.

    I really tired the first time I was on Atkins after about a month. I had that same lead in my blood and could have slept the day away. Someone suggested that I needed to add B-Complex to my supplement pile. It helped me.

      Have you been working out harder than usual Knack? If so maybe your body just needs a rest....

      If not then maybe adding the B- Complex like terry said will help....Listen to your body...maybe it telling you just need to take a nice long nap....or maybe some R n R. Sound to me is that you need to let you body rest from your previous injury...Try some L-Glutamine as well this helps when your sore from working out...Feel Better

        Add the B-complex supplements and increase your fat slightly. That's what worked for me the last time when it happened.

        And hang in there! This is common, and will pass!

          Are you eating enough food as well as supplements. Nicknack?
          You ought to be eating above your BMR plus extra if you do a lot of exercise
          Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

            Hows about your water? Are you getting enough water? Especially if you are in an area that is baking like the rest of us..

            What about your home? Is your feng shui all in alignment? Maybe your energy channels are off? When was the last time you stood on your head? Sis in law who does yoga says that is supposed to release your energy (me, it just makes me unable to breath, and my head hurt, so when I crash to the floor, my heart is racing and I am breathing hard, so yes, I suppose it worked). I wonder if your stars are out of whack? Kids? They are energy leeches... Maybe you need to have more yellow colored objects around you. HMMMMM...

            I am not mking fun, only tryign to bring some cheer and humor. But seriously, the water thing gets me if I am not getting enough, I am a zombie.

              Hmm...

              I"m definitely not exercising too much, since I have a pulled muscle that has been keeping me rather housebound. I've been drinking plenty of water, I think. Although, I feel dehydrated, but I drank a TON of water today. Been eating anywhere from 1200-1400 calories a day, so I think I'm good on that too.

              Maybe I'll try adding B vitamins. That's a good idea. I just hate the way they smell!!!!

                  well, i didn't take any vitamin B's but I feel better today for some reason. No clue, it really all makes no sense to me. I wonder if it's because I lowered my veggie intake for a day or two after i gained a pound over the weekend. that might be it, I suppose.

                  Well, either way, I made it through and the vitamins are on the list at the store.

                    I think you need those veggies! And the b's!

                    Glad to hear that you felt better today. We shouldnt stress over a # gain when it is more than likely a little water fluctuation.
