  • Friday Exercise Check In

    I once again did an indoor mall walk. Then got a little school shopping and grocery shopping done afterwards. Bought myself a few new tops for this weeks treats just for being so damned good this week!

    I am also doing the park waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay away thing everywhere we go. I need to get a pedometer and figure out how to use it.

    Ok,, I just wanted to say that it was funny that two someones were brave enough to come in and read the post, but not brave enough to report in while they were here. I will say.. I DID NOTHING today. I plan on walking tonight, swimming tommorrow and weight lifting on SUn.. I HAVE been up and down the stairs 7 times today. BLECH...

    I also found at, after 5 weeks of being here, that the hallways make a circle, so I will be able to walk in circles on my lunches, until of course, someone complains that it is bothering them... we dont occupy all the offices.

    No wasted carbs.
    Water intake .5 -1 gallon.
    Exercise 60 minutes 5x week
    Get in the right veggies.

      Hey W.P.!

      You have a plan there. Walking is good and swimming is great fun! I will be at a conference for 3 days next week so Im planning on taking advantage of the pool there and if I have time, the gym as well. But the pool will be a definate every night after all the activities and sessions are over.

      Corridors in circles are not a bad thing in an office for those who would like to stretch their legs and move around once in awhile.

      How are you doing? Hanging in there?

        Hanging in... i saw about your conference when I was reading your journal. I wish I could go to a hotel for a few days, even if I did have to work. MAYBE, I will just tell folks I am going to a conference (receptionists have those, right LOL)... and sit in a hotel.. hmmmmm. That has possibilities.

        The people here think I am crazy anyway, so me walking should be okay.. we shall see. I should check wiht mgt before I do anything.

        OH for the days of working nights, when we could just pop over to the YMCA in the afternoon. By the time I get the kids and get home, it is almost bedtime for the poor guys. I cant wait to get a different job, hopefully on a graves shift.

          And that hotel idea wasnt a bad one! Be sure to get one with a pool and a gym and room service and you will be all set! With kids or without!

          My anniversary is in Sept. Hubby and I never get away. We are going to book a hotel for the weekend and just go and relax. Enjoy what is local and get away. Live is a crap shoot and sometimes you just have to take yourself away from it all.

          I checked out your journal today too! I hadnt read any of them yet and happened upon yours.

          Visit mine any time you dont mind the ramblings of someone with absolutely no direction.

            Exercise...ok well I THOUGHT about walking, does that count? I am due for TOM and dragging my butt still, but I'm not gonna miss a day anymore, THAT was bad news. MAN did I hurt! So tonight after our bbq'd burgers, I will take my 1 hour walk, and will take a pic of the pelicans at the weir for ya'll (if I remember)
