    How is everyone today?

    Any great weekend plans?

    Goals?

    I am helping hubby with a newsletter that we send out monthly so nothing exciting here. Just stuffing several hundred envelopes. Will get plenty of walking in for my exercise. A quick trip to the grocery store to pick up what I forgot to get yetserday. How could I forget jicama and spaghetti squash????

    Im going to cruise thru my recipes and try something different too. That is my goal I guess this weekend. Incorperate something that I can make for everyone and not do the 2 woe thing a little less often. Especially since I return to work next month. Will make life much easier for me then.

    Hope you all have exciting plans and be sure to check in with your STAC buddies! We worry so................

    Today...
    Starting and finishing a term paper due on monday...yep, summer procrastination here

    Walking my mile, maybe two...fatigue has really gripped my body this week
    Finish the laundry

    Play with the girls...maybe even get my rollar blades out...lol..maybe

    Drink my gallon of water.

      hello all! Today is day 13 woohoo! I'm down 10.5pds and feeling pretty good. I feel slimmer, my arms and legs especially, and my face looks thinner too! Don't have much planned for the weekend, thinking about going out to moms today and helping her can the last of the tomatos (salsa) yum! Still haven't got on that darn treadmill yet, its sitting right here lookin at me lol. Anyway just wanted to check in. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

        Hey guys,

        I need to re-focus. Since losing 7 pounds since last week, my sweet cravings had a hold of me for 2 days. Back on track today. I want to reach my mini-goal by next Friday. My reward is a facial.

          Hmmmm, this weekend I plan to :

          1. Make a Low Carb Cheesecake, been wanting to do it all week but never enough time!!!!

          2. Try to plan out a menu for the next week. I think it would make life easier during the week!!

          3. Finish the laundry. That is of course a never ending job though so I don't know why I ever think I will finish it!!!

          4. Go to the grocery store and stock up on broccoli. We never have enough!!!

          5. Go to church tomorrow. Haven't been in several weeks, so I need to get bak into the habit. I have a lot to be thankful for.

          I think that is enough goals for one weekend.


          EDIT:

          I forgot to add that I have lost an additional 2 lbs as of today, and TOM is about here!!!!! WOOT WOOT!!!!

            Good morning!

            OMG, I had a terrible nightmare last night. I dreamed that I ate somethingy carby (can't remember what) and then had such cravings that I ended up eating handsfull of cakes. I remember thinking "oh-oh, after I just posted that I never cheat or have cravings like this! How will I ever tell my Stacked buddies!") I felt SOOOO ashamed, and half of the dream was literally getting up the guts to come back on the board!

            My day today? Well, I'm going to work out this morning. Then spend some time ALONE with dh (seems like every day this week when he's been available, I've had someone to drive somewhere, etc). I don't know about later. Keeping flexible!

            I am retaining water today and it is because I did not drink NEARLY enough water yesterday. Do not ask me why. I knew it, I was reminded by Terry, I simply CHOSE not to drink water! Is that dumb, or what? Little self-destructive tendencies rearing their little heads? Yikes!

            So today I am going to drink a gallon of water. End of story.

                        Good Afternoon!

                        Thought I'd check in also. Not really any plans for the weekend. Thought I'd go thru some of my recipes that I had collected the first time I was on Atkins that I really liked. Found one of my favs for breakfast...or for just a plain snack. "Kim's Flaxmeal Cinnamon Muffins" http://users3.ev1.net/~fontlady/flax...n_muffins.html

                        I double mine up so I only get 6. It makes a nice size muffin doubled...and for only 2 net carbs... Well actually it's a touch more as for the 6 muffins I take a 1/2 ounce of cream cheese and nuke it til its really soft and add 1 packet of splenda. Put it in a bag to pipe over my muffins...and waaalaa...a fancy looking muffin. I used hazelnut divinci's in mine. And 1 1/2TBSP of cinnamon and 1/2 TBSP of nutmeg. Had one for my lunch. Mmm...gotta go thru the rest of my recipes now today as I had gotten sidetracked when I found the muffin recipe and raced off to the kitchen to make them.

                        Doing better with my water drinking today. I have about 60 oz. down so far. I had slacked up a bit for a couple days and gained 4 lbs over night. I did much better yesterday and those 4 lbs are back off.

                            oh...they are good! I'm gonna have to hide the other 5 so I only eat one a day. With all that flax it could be disasterous!

                              Lisa good luck with that term paper. You are awesome for going back to school and realizing your dreams!

                              psigna.... wtg on the 2# loss! You can never have enough broccoli and laundry NEVER goes away!

                              Finelly.... I have heard of people having those night mares but I have never experienced one. They must be pretty scary until you realize you are only dreaming. Goes to show what is first and foremost on your conscience doesnt it...... Being accountable!
