  • How bad would it be?

I have a trip this for the next couple of days, after being on this diet for a week and not doing it just right, would it be a big deal if I enjoyed my 4 day vacation, and came back to really do this diet the right way?
    advice please!

Well that depends - do you want to have to start from scratch, go through some of the withdrawals and whatnot, prolong the cravings, and put on a couple of extra pounds you're going to have to take back off again?

well if I dont go crazy with snack foods and bread, maybe just a little less worried. My problem will be the drinks....mixed drinks...I know were fishing, but were still girls that like girly drinks...haha. and yes, I NEED to start all over from scrach.
PS: I meant the melting pictures, that is you.

Yep. Those melting pictures are me.

Well, you know what the consequences are going to be if you make less than healthy choices for yourself, so you're the one who's got to decide. You already know that it's shooting yourself in the foot.

I wish I had a dime for everytime I said, "enjoy my .... vacation, and came back to really do this diet the right way?" I'd be a wealthy woman, and so would a lot of other people here with weight to lose.

Why does food/drink = vacation enjoyment? It doesn't have to, you know. Fishing. Hiking. Boating. Tubing. Skiing. Etc, etc, etc. You can enjoy your vacation just fine staying away from the booze in favor of water and eating things that are low-carb, and then you get the added bonus of having lost a bit of weight instead of gaining it like everyone else!

It all depends on how committed you are to this woe. Alcohol isn't allowed on induction. Not only does it contain carbs and sugars, but it releases your inhibitions and will make it more likely that you will eat other carby foods. Basically, what you are asking is, "is it ok to stop and cheat for a few days, and then come back?" If by "ok" you mean will we continue to be your support system, then the answer is "yes". If by "ok" you mean "will my body be able to deal with this and get me losing again really quickly?" the answer might be a big fat no. The second time around is slower. And by messing around with ketosis, on and off again, you are confusing your system.

Put my 2 cents in earlier blueeyes with this mornings post.

This is all about the choices we make. Only you can decide what is best for you.
