Hi to everyone who might remember me, and hi to everyone I don't know yet!
I've restarted Atkins as of Friday 7/29 and I am psyched!!!!!
By way of background, I started sometime in August 2003 and successfully lost 70 pounds over 1 1/2 years. I got really sick in February 2005 with a very serious virus and was also diagnosed with very serious anemia. The virus attacked my white blood cells and I was extremely weak from the anemia. I left Atkins while I was sick, I switched to WW core program and have slowly gained about 35 pounds over the past 6 months. Since the doctor gave me a clean bill of health last week and the virus seems to be gone I am ready to re-dedicate myself to this WOE.
I don't fool around when it come to Atkins and I am SO SO SO happy to be back. 35 freakin pounds heavier.... NOT COOL!! But in any event they will be gone soon enough because I'm back!! It's funny, I was so worried about starting induction, but it has been easier than I thought.
Glad to see some familiar faces and will be happy to get some inspiration from you all!!
