  • Happy Monday!

    Hi all! How is it going today?

    I'm getting nails done today, and I'm THINKING about cleaning out the car and going to the car wash. WHat do you think? Is it time? I only have 3 bundles of beach towels (dirty), a bunch of empty drink cups, 7 pairs of shoes (who knows which kid they belong to), 5 Sunday newspapers, 12 empty cigarette packs, and about 2 garbage bags full of other crap in it.....need your advice. <grin>

    I think I'm going to work out early today, 'cause hubby and I are going out tonight. (nope, don't know where, yet, but it will doubtless end up in a bookstore - yippee!).

    I'm feeling a little bit stiff this morning. Not the "omg, I worked out too hard" kind, but enough of a difference that I think the additional resistence on weights and treadmill/bike are showing.

    Hey, I have a question: does anyone know, ballpark figure, how much muscle weight one might gain in 6 weeks with the kind of exercise I do? (45 min cardio, and then weight training). Just curious.

    Ok, just checked mybodycomp. It says that between June 20 and july 30, I gained 5.63 lbs in lean body mass and lost 16 lbs in fat mass. I wonder if that means that 5.63 lbs is about what I gained in muscle mass?

      HOW are you finding that? I plugged all my stuff into that this weekend so I could play on the tape measure challenge, and cant find anything...

            Ok, so click on two of the measurements (I assume that you have measured before and that there are two or more measure days recorded) and then hit "compare profiles". It should bring it up!

              You are doing SO good! I was too til last night grumble grumble, but after working out like a crazed freak....(no I mean...MORE of a crazed freak than the norm) I am back to my pre screw up weight whew! I went for half my daily walk already today and am drinking my water, and just gonna hang around today and take all my parrots outside. They are so happy when they are allowed outside.

                Finelly are you sure thats not my car in your driveway? Add in a couple bags of returnables and it would definately be mine. Cleaning it out is on my short list for this week.

                It is now after 5 and I havent even had one quart of water yet. Better start chugging pretty quick here or Im not going to get the minimum 64 oz in. brb...

                Back...... quart bottle refilled.......

                  helloooo.... its a good monday here, I took the day off ... well half of it but still. i am actually CLEANING my house. wow.. anyway, i made some delicious chicken drumsticks with a jalapeno/tomatillo sauce thing. mmm...
