In the Atkins Essential(lost my frigging DANDR and this is a biiiig help till I get a new on),it says that if one is staying on an extended induction one can add an ounce of nuts to one's list of induction foods and see how it agrees with....THAT is! ok isn't it?

yep even in DANDR it says in an earlier chapter after your 14 days are done you can add nuts to your foods.

The only problem with nuts is that a little ounce sometimes makes you crave more. Almonds and walnuts are healthy, macs are delicious, but no way I can eat just a few. I eat one, I need to eat the whole jar, so what I do is add them to my meals. Today I am going to make a lettuce wrap and it calls for almonds. I can do that.

I hadn't remembered the nuts either. I can't sit down and just have an ounce to eat either...I want more. But I can use an ounce in my cooking and do just fine.
