  • Good.... Tuesday ... Morning!

    After a day of rain and thunderstorms here, the sun gods are back and in full gear!

    I havent gotten a walk in for a few days and it is at the top of my list today. My water is poured and ready to go just as soon as I enjoy this hot steamy mug of coffee.

    Back to not being hungry. Gotta say I like these periods.

    Now before that first sip of coffee................ measurements!! Whoops almost forgot.

    Drat....I forgot to measure this morning. I need to write that down on my calendar *takes pen, writes...out of ink; takes pencil...writes...lead broke; takes crayon...writes...* there, it's done. Tuesdays eow (every other week) marked for recording inches lost.

      I see you having a good day.....I measured yesterday....are we going to post them are post total inches lost.

      Either way my day is going pretty good can't complain.....Working out after work....Already on my 5th cup of water....Just taking it day by day girl....lol

          Happy Tuesday everyone!

          Well, I am not a member of the tape measure challenge (still have not bought that tape measure). But, my Tuesday is going great none the less. I'm pushing through, drinking my water, got my exercise in last night and will again today. I tried making stuffed mushrooms last night, didn't go well. I am just not the best cook . But moving past it. LOL.

            Lisa... Thank goodness for crayons! My kids are grown but we still have some in the drawer with all the broken lead pencils and out of ink pens.

            Natasha... great measurments!! Yes, each time you post your loss add them to the running total. I wonder how many inches in a mile???!!!

            Good day here yes!!! Coffee in and water is going down the hatch. Need to eat. As I am back to the lack of hunger thing I think Im kitchen bound and going to make some crustless quiche to have on hand and some flax muffins. Im so not into eggs right now but the quiche is OK. Have some chicken breast in the stove too.

              Hiya, everyone. I slept late, as we went to bed late. Dh and I went to dinner yesterday and then to see "Must Love Dogs" - a good flick for a date! lol. Then we went to Starbucks and sat outside with decaf and talked for a long time.......SOOO nice.

              So I woke up this morning and here I am with my coffee. And I'm sorta pissed at myself. Here's the deal. Yesterday, I drank.......3 sips of water.

              Now, I've posted about this before. This is not forgetting. This is not not likeing water. This is about me, self-sabotaging. I haven't had sugar in 6 weeks. I haven't had more than 20 carbs in 6 weeks. I haven't had more than 1740 calories in 6 weeks. I drag myself, kicking and screaming, to the gym even when it's the last thing I want to do. In short, I do not cheat. On food.

              But I KNOWINGLY, KNOWINGLY am avoiding the water. I think I can even say that it is DELIBERATE, given that I have bottles of water out in every room and a ton in the fridge, chilling. (I even bought a bottle of water yesterday when we were out, but......didn't even open it while we were driving.)

              I'm trying to figure this out. Do I not want to get out of this stupid "pause"? Am I afraid of going to the bathroom? Do I have some sort of self-destructive urge to dehydrate myself? I do not know, but it FEELS like my inner child is having a tantrum.

              Ah. That last sentence did something to me. I have been the mother of FOUR toddlers. So I just stood up, walked to the kitchen, and grabbed a 25 oz bottle of water and took a huge swig. Maybe I just need to assert a little discipline here.......

                    It's 4:15 p.m. and I have consumed 70 oz of water today. I'm doing better. And I haven't worked out yet.

                      Heck.............. You just could make the whole gallon today!

                      That inner child is in all of us. We just have to use our adult side to outsmart it. That sounds just like what I am feeling when it comes to my supps/meds.

                        I am chugging away, I honestly never know how much I drink, I just know that I am constantly drinking water from the time I get up, til I go to bed, I'm SURE its al least a gallon! Did half my walk this morning, other half later. Hey did my pics of my birdies show up? I posted them here somewhere for ya'll to see.

                              Great job with the water Finelly! No more time-out threats for you!

                              I too was better with the water today (one of my weak points), but got in 96 oz (Yay me!).
