  • Happy Wednesday Everyone!

    Hope all of you are having a great Wednesday so far!

    Well, I'm quite proud of myself today. I got up this morning, bright and early (I'm not a morning person) and exercised my butt off. I did the 2-Mile WATP video. So, any additional exercise will just be an added benefit for me. It feels so good to have gotten this done early. My energy level is up and I even made it to work on time. So, my day is off to a good start.

    For today, I am having stuffed green peppers for breakfast (so yummy), Grilled chicken salad for lunch with a bunless cheeseburger if I'm extra hungry, and pork and cauliflower for dinner.

    What is everyone else up to today?

    Good Morning Sarah!

    Still trying to motivate my hiney into going to do my workout this morn. I'm sooooo not a morning person myself.

    Your stuffed green peppers sound good! I'm probably going to grab one of my flax muffins for breakfast. It's good and quick. Probably leftover meatloaf from dinner last night for lunch today. And no clue for dinner yet. Maybe steaks? Mmm

      Yeah, definitely hard to get motivated for morning workouts, but I get so disappointed if the day gets away from me and I'm working out at 8pm. I've been having difficulty sleeping, so thought this would help.

      Instead of tomato, I put salsa in to kick it up a notch. The original way was a little to dry for me.

        Why, oh, WHY am I awake? lol. No idea. (It's 6:30 here in Calif, and I'm on vacation!) No matter. I'm checking in, having coffee, and will go back to bed to snuggle with dh.

        Today I was supposed to go out to lunch with my oldest son, and get his hair cut. But he's still UP! (insomnia....teenager....computer game.....too much coke (the legal kind). So I dunno if he'll be coherent by noon.....and he works at 2:30.

        Other than that, it's a day of errands. Car insurance - pick up new insurance cards, since they didn't mail them for some reason. Vet - need more flea meds. DMV - register daughter's car (though I won't stay if there's a line, lol).

        Then get a good workout in, do some more laundry, and vacuum.

        I've been quite the dillettante, going to the beach every day and generally ignoring the mundane errands and cleaning, so I'm going to play catchup.

        Oh......and yesterday I got in about 90-100 fluid oz of water, so I'm gonna try to match that.

              Ah, to be able to stay up forever again. Have not been able to do that in quite some time. On second thought, I guess I don't really miss staying up forever. I really do love my sleep.

                Hi guys

                WTG Sara on getting that walk in first thing. I want to get into that habit and do the same thing when I return to work in a few weeks. Means I have to be up by 4:45 so I can get my bathroom time in before the kids get up to start their day @ 5:30

                Sounds like my son Finelly! He will rise about noon and is due for work at 2. The last time I tried an all nighter it about killed me. I was a zombie for 2 days. To be 18 again. NOT.......... No desire to go back there.
                Good job on the water too btw you! If you can get your water in I can get my supplements in. I can feel that I havent been good about them.

                There.............. I took em. I do really well when I leave them here by the computer. Guess Im going to have to go back to that. Always have the water when I come here and then it reminds me to take them.

                Im having chicken salad for breakfast and am just now getting to my coffee. Put some caramel davinci syrup in it and it is a nice little treat. Mmmmm

                Im meeting my boss for lunch and hoping to schedule a few days to help out and add extra $$ to that first paycheck of the school year. We are headed for a conference next week for 3 days and need to make some more plans so that is my day in a nutshell.

                  Hey everybody. My day is going okay, too. Actually, it is a big day for me. I am turning in my resignation to spend more time at home. My kids are nine and twelve and I feel really good about the decision. Money thoughts are always there, but we will be okay. I am hanging tough with the diet, but exercise is slipping under the stress. Plus, school just started here so our evenings are extra busy. Here's to next week!

                  rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)

                  rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
                  rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)

                    Shannon, go you! How great that you'll be able to spend more time with the family! (my secret desire as well. One of these days.).

                    Terry - OMG 4:45am. That would be really tough for me. I'm having difficulty getting up at 6am to do it.

                      Sound like you have a Fantastic morning.....Good for you....Your eating well...and thats good and the exercise well thats just going to be benefit enough.

                      Keep up that hard work girl and you will be reaching your goal in no time.


                      Im doing ok....today not my best day...having some issues with the bf and day started out kinda bad...but im sure it will get better....

                      Well every1 make sure u drink up and get some good ole exercise in....

                        Natasha, sorry to hear your day isn't going so well You have made great progress with this woe, so stay strong with today's troubles and you will make it through for a happier tomorrow. Or, if you want to, we can just give your bf a swift kick in the a**! LOL

                            I'm with you Debbie - I haven't been able to exercise much either cuz of my knee tendon. I did manage to walk about a mile today to/from the bus. I hope it's getting better!

                            Other than that I got a lot of work accomplished at school today. yay! Now I'm trying to decide what is next!
