  • Good Morning Friday!!!

    Checking in before I head out for some running around today. I have a busy weekend planned and leave first thing on Monday morning for a 3 day conference so today I have to get the laundry done, grocery shopping, begin packing and make a few meals ahead.

    My treat that is not so much a treat but a neccessity is a new pair of running shoes for work and some for walking.

    Supps are in ( that makes 4 successful days in a row!) and I have my first water of the day poured and ready to go. DD and I will definatley plan our day around bathroom availability while we are out!

    How are you doing today Miss Natasha? Finelly are you feeling back to normal yet?

    The weekend is so close you can taste it now!

    morning. just relaxing before work. *yawn* at least it is almost the weekend! woohoo. ate a good breakfast, took my vitamins, and started drinking my water. gotta take it a liiittle easy on the h2o for now though, or i will be in the bathroom at work all day haha. starting to feel a little a bit bloated and blah, as tom is about a week away. well, nothing much more to report for now. happy friday everyone. maybe i'll sneak on here at work if i get a minute!

    Current Weight: refuse to get on the scale but all my clothes don't fit

      Happy Friday all!!!

      Well, I'm so glad Friday is finally here. Work has been terribly boring and slow this week. Makes the days drag on and on.

      Proud to say that I got 1 hour of exercise in yesterday. I did WATP 2 mile tape in the a.m. and did a 30 minute power walk w/a friend for the evening. This is big progress for me. And since my fall off the wagon last week, I'm now a week cheat free. Feeling a lot stronger at fighting the willpower issues now. I'm starting off kind of slow with water today, but I'll catch up.

      My dad is coming to visit from out of town tonight and wants to order pizza. This has me a little nervous - I love pizza. But, DH has already said, well he can have pizza, we are having steak. So, he will help me stay strong through this. I may give in to just a few toppings - no crust! We also have a cook-out to go to tomorrow. Not to worried there. I might pick up some pork rinds and salsa to snack while everyone else is snacking. Beyond that, I will have a bunless cheeseburger. So, basically, I'm feeling more prepared this week. I have a plan in place to avoid eating the carby foods.

        Hi hi!

        This morning I woke up feeling like I'd gotten hit by a mack truck. I have no idea why, just sooooo groggy. It's two hours later and i'm STILL not feeling better. So tired. I slept 8 hours last night too! I'm wondering if it's because I got rid of a lot of water yesterday (ahem) and maybe I'm dehydrated? Who knows.

        Either way, *yawn*. I'm going to go to a coffee shop and work later i think. we'll see!

          Oh, hi....................I'm on day three (or four?) of a veeeeery lazy week. Perfectly happy, just kind of meandering thru life right now!!!!!

          I did clean the car, and i did clean the house, and I have cooked a BIT for the weekend and I did go to the grocery store.......but honestly, most of the time I sit around reading or napping or vegging or playing with the cats..........

          207 is still here. I keep trying to shove him/her out the door, but given that I am not drinking my water (don't ask. It's really some sort of self-destructive thing, do not do this at home) I doubt he's leaving today.

          So......today. I will really try to drink at least 64 oz of water. That's my only, ONLY goal. Because obviously if I set more than one goal, I accomplish very little!

          Part of it may be, in addition to being self-sabotaging for some reason, that my appetite is way down, and it's all I can do to make sure I get the food in and the calories up. Water really gets in the way of that......but that's no excuse!

          Anyway, aside from feeling pleasantly lazy, I'm happy and relaxed......and this is ok!!!!!

            Day # 2 of TOM....my worst. Yuk. Making up for lost TOM last month. I figure my body was in shock from exercising all of a sudden. But this TOM is painful!

            I have no appetite when I feel like this. Forcing myself to eat.

              Hmmmm..........I haven't had TOM in a couple of months because I'm on the birth control shot, but suddenly a visit and pretty painful this time. Maybe mine is opposite of your reason lowcarb, maybe upping my exercise caused me to have one. I don't know, I just hope he leaves soon and takes the bloating, water retention and cramping he caused with him

                Afternoon...All Terr I see you got a busy day but you are definetly starting out right....Getting organized is the key....

                Im doing just great today is turning out alright....

                Sarah....Way 2 GO on the exercise.....and Tell Dad I say Hi *waving* Be strong girl....don't let that pizza getcha....lol

                Knack ....not sure while you feeling groggy, could it be that you didn't get enough to eat...are u taking supps or vitamins? Either way try to get some of those in ya....and move around a bit...IM sure you will feel better....Good Luck

                  Everyone seems set in their day today. I have gotten all my running around done save a trip to the meat market. I got some really pretty mums and planted them outside and made up a memorial pan to replace one on a very special grave. I got a good pair of New Balance cross trainers on sale!!

                  Im a bit behind on my water. Havent quite finished a whole quart yet but will shoot for 3 and hope for 4. Laundry is on the list so I can pack on Sunday evening for the conference I am attending.

                  Sarah.... hope TOM calms down for you quickly, you too cleveland.

                    Hey guys,
                    I hear what one of you was saying (Finelly?) about kicking a pound out the door. That is what you were talking about right? Man, I am so stalled right now, but I know what it is! It is because I am not eating enough. That is what I think it is. I had a stressful week at work, turning in my resignation to stay home for awhile and just coming off vacation, etc... I realized that I haven't eaten much at all for a few days straight. Instead of losing, I have just stalled. Would that make sense?

                    1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
                    what the rungs mean to me:
                    rung 1 - more veggies
                    rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
                    rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
                    rung 4 - berries, melon
                    rung 5 - wine -
                    rung 6 - beans, hummus
                    rung 7 - other fruits
                    rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
                    rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
                    Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
                    (on to pre-maintenance)

                      What? No one missed me? (sniff)

                      Ok so I am out the door to do my second leg of my walk, 1 gallon at least of water is in me, hubby says I'm shrinking and keeps staring at my face. (likin' dat)

                      Gonna go sit on a rock by the river and stare at the moon and contemplate life and stuff..... no really...I'm not high!
