  • So whats everyone having for meals today?

    I've always liked these threads. I always come away with great ideas.

    Breakfast
    1 slice zucchini bread
    1 hard boiled egg
    Glass of chilled decaf green tea w/mint

    Lunch
    Green salad w/pepperoni with carb well ranch dressing
    Water

    Dinner
    Steak
    grilled summer squash and zucchini (marinated with olive oil and fresh dill)
    Small side salad
    Water

    Sooooo whatcha ya'll having?

    Unfortunately, I did no pre-planning for today.

    Breakfast: Bologna and Cheese slices (bad bad bad)
    Lunch: Hard boiled eggs, and a cucumber with hidden valley ranch dressing
    Dinner: Hopefully a grilled chicken caesar salad from McDonalds

    Not very exciting. I need my own personal chef somedays.....

    I just grabbed whatever I could out of the refrigerator before I left for work.

      For me,

      Breakfast:
      Egg salad (w/mayo)

      Lunch:
      Side Salad w/ranch
      2 cheeseburgers, bunless of course (w/mayo)

      Dinner:
      Steak
      Spaghetti Squash (w/olive oil, garlic)

        Here's mine:

        Breakfast: Egg Salad w/turkey pepperoni (out of the regular)
        Lunch: Salad w/Romaine, cucumber and green pepper with chunks of roast turkey and Marzetti Ranch dressing.

        Dinner: Corned Beef sandwich, using two leaves of Romaine lettuce.

        Lots of water of course, probably over 100 oz, and if I need to have a snack...Pork Rinds

          Today I had:

          For breakfast
          1 Bockwurst sausage
          1 slice of flax bread (I got the recipe from this forum, don't remember who posted it, it is great!) with butter
          tall glass of water
          my vitamins

          For lunch
          Don't know how to translate, its similar to squid. Anyway it was made on the oven with olive oil and parsley.
          I ate it with green salad (lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber)

          I'm snacking on walnuts today (1 oz worth of it)

          For dinner I'll have tuna salad (tuna, mayo and onions) with some greens (probably lettuce again, its sooo hot today! and whatever I have on the fridge)

            Yum! Everyone's meals sound great

            Drinks: coffee, decafe tea, water

            Breakfast: Flax meal pancakes with fried egg
            Lunch: Tuna salad in lettuce wrap, mayo w/pepperoni chips
            Dinner: Fried chicken, faux taters (cauliflower), & Fresh Green beans.

            Snacks: Pepperoni chips or boiled egg or string cheese...I haven't been very hungry for snacks, but I keep these handy.

                Breakfast =

                2 rashers of bacon
                1 egg
                and some mushrooms

                Lunch =

                Cold meat and salad

                Dinner =

                Will be, Steak and broccoli and more mushrooms.

                It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!




                I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

                  Brekkie: Had a bite of the Sour cream thingie, don't like it much! Will make my Egg Brekkie Muffins today methinks.

                    Everyone's meals sound so yummy! Sure wished I liked mushrooms...there is so many ways to use them. I just can't get past their cooked texture. I can eat a few of them raw in a salad. Or when I used to make tuna noodle casserole I would use cr of mushroom soup...and could tolerate the teeny ones in there. Ahh well...just as well....I seem to like too many foods as is it.....tis what got me here!

                    as0l0...Here is my converted recipe I used for my zucchini bread. It actually tastes really good and stays realllllly moist. I keep this in the frig as it has no preservative in it and I'm sure would go bad fast.

                    Zucchini Bread

                    2 eggs
                    1/2 c. cannola oil (or whatever oil you want..that's just what I use)
                    1 c splenda
                    1 c grated zucchini
                    1/2 c chopped walnuts (or not if your still on induction)
                    1/2 tsp. salt
                    1/4 tsp. baking powder
                    1 1/2 c golden flax (should be ok with reg flax..I just had golden onhand)
                    2 tsp. ground cinnamon
                    1 tsp. baking powder

                    Directions:

                    1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) Grease and flour a 8x4" loaf pan. (I just used spray Crisco in a non stick pan)

                    2. In a large bowl beat eggs until light and frothy. Mix in oil and sugar. Stir in zucchini and vanilla. Combine flour, cinnamon, soda, baking powder, salt and nuts. Stir into the egg mixture.

                    3. Bake for 60 to 70 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

                        What exactly is the diff between Dungeness Crab and regular crab? Even my chef hubby scratches his head over this one. It tastes and looks the same, just an inflated price as far as we can tell. Crab is crab

                          Oh my gosh I can hardly remember what I had for 'breakfast'. Wait... must have been spinach with a little cream and some grated cheese. I really craved the stuff. Lunch was a piece of salmon and a little mayo. Dinner is probably shrimps on a bed of stir-fry napa cabbage.

                            Here goes:


                            B - 2 med fried eggs, 4 strips of bacon, 1 C coffee w/1 splenda
                            L - A piece of chicken that was fried in canola oil w/salt, pepper, poultry seasoning and rosemary. A salad of spinach, tomato and 2 hard boiled eggs and regular ranch dressing
                            D - no clue.

                            I've drank 3 liters of water, and going for a refill. Took all my supplements.

                            Natasha, you're not eating enough! I'd be starving!
