  • Starting Again Monday. Looking for a partner!?

    Hi Everybody!
    I have been doing Atkins second time around for a few months with a ten pound loss.
    I have been struggling for the past few weeks, as many of you know. I have been working out my resignation for my job and will be finished on Friday. I have not gained (too much), but have allowed carb creep in and have definitely stopped my exercising. I had been doing so good, so I know the results can happen.

    It is my intention to start back on Monday with a clean induction. I am going to have a very clean indcution on Monday for fourteen days and maybe longer this time. I am also going to go back to my running. I will exercise four times a week for thirty minutes each time. In ten weeks, I will be running for thirty minutes without a walking break and will begin adding time/ distance.

    I am also going to start doing sit-ups daily and drinking my water!!! I am also going to post every morning as part of my commitment to myself. I am looking for someone who wishes to compare notes and maybe share this journey with me.

    Thanks everyone for your patience with me. I love this board. You all are my lifelines.

    1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
    what the rungs mean to me:
    rung 1 - more veggies
    rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
    rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
    rung 4 - berries, melon
    rung 5 - wine -
    rung 6 - beans, hummus
    rung 7 - other fruits
    rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
    rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
    Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
    (on to pre-maintenance)

    Im scaling down again, just tagged up with Nick. I have been doing extended induction but added more veggies and have begun this week to pick. Sometimes just a bite here and there of something not allowed.

    Have to whip my a$$ back into shape quick or risk a full blown binge. So I/we are with ya!

        Shannon, we will all be here for you through this!!! I've had the same problem, eating a little of this or a little of that. I'm back at induction too. You are going to do great!!
