  • Happy Thursday Check In

    Full moon tonight ladies and gentlemen......

    Does it affect anyone else here? I cant sleep and spend the night looking at the ceiling. Tylenol PM is my friend this time of month.

    Im off in a few minutes for Curves after a little breakfast then visiting with a friend and on to some much needed grocery shopping. Im thinking crab for dinner.........

    Sounds like you have a full day today Terr.....and crab sounds good to me....

    Today im working drinking all my water and im going to try to start the couch to 5k program if possible.

      Just got home from work. I left a bit early this morning - well, actually, I left right on time for a change. LOL

      I'm already over 1/2 way to meeting my water goal for the day.

      I had dinner at 6:30am and it's now been 2 hours since I ate, so I can go to sleep in short order. When I wake up, I'll workout, go tanning, and eat when I get back.

      It's raining here, so I'm hoping it clears up so I can take the kids swimming later!

      I'll check in later.

        Hi guys! Everyone is doing great!!

        I'm hanging in there. Not feeling so well today, so battling the urges for old comfort foods. So far so good. I had scrambled eggs and sausage for breakfast, will have cucumbers w/dressing for a mid-morning snack and then side salad and cheeseburger without the bun for lunch. I didn't have anything to bring for a mid-afternoon snack, so that time of day has me a little worried.

        Since I'm not feeling well and still getting the little guy back up to 100%, I doubt that I will get my exercise in today, but I plan to move forward full speed by Monday (I was doing so great with the exercise, so this week has really depressed me by not having it, I guess this is a positive though since I have recognized I need and miss the exercise).

          I am with you Sarah on the exercise! I have fallen off and can't seem to get back on. I have decided to give myself a break until Monday. But, Monday, no more excuses. It sure does make me feel better, too. We can do this!

            Feeling really tired this morning, haven't started drinking my water (OK, I will start drinking in a few minutes), drank my latte made with Carb Countdown milk but I am not hungry this morning so yes, I am skipping breakfast but I will eat a flaxseed muffin in the next couple of hours. I haven't really been hungry the past couple of days. I am thinking my TOM is afftecting this. I know some get the munchies but I am just the opposite. I hope I feel better later.

              ugh terry i agree with you-i was tossing and turning all night yesterday! full moon or no moon..i've got a lot on my mind and my thoughts kept me up for hours...

              anyways..now i am pretty darn tired and at work. i'm going up north to the UP with my bf to visit his long lost relatives tomorrow. i hope there is some low carb atkins friendly food around. i need to pack some snacks so i am not caught in a bind. i've been doing great all week and i don't need to fall off this weekend!

              okie dokie back to my duties..happy thursday!

                  Just checking in here. Not much going on here. Just doing the round about town chores today.

                  Got some of my water down and had a zucchini muffin for brunch. Will eat more when I get home from my running. Strange ..not much of an appetite this morning. Ketosis has never decreased my appetite yet. I've been it it since restarting this time. Maybe it just took awhile to kick in. I can only hope...as I have such a huge appetite all the time.

                  Hope your feeling better Sarah!

                  And nope Terry....the full moon has never affected me...well not that I've noticed.

                  Well off to get the grocery list in order.

                      Good morning everybody. Just peeking in to say hi. Doing good and better the 2nd time around. I have so much internally going on about love, I think I'm in love. This is weird, because I don't let my feelings show or I try to escape it. I'm feeling butterflys this morning.

                        hi everyone..

                        having a weird day. woke up early and ready to go and have already exercised. This is big! So here I am sitting in a coffee shop ready to work and I can't think of anything to do!!! This is so weird. I'm not really sure what's going on, to be honest.

                        but, well. drinking lots of water etc... hopefully soon i'll figure out what i'm supposed to do.

                          Ugghh. Not enough sleep last night, after fighting with hubby. Having a lot of personal issues right now, including a pending seperation and looking for a job, I'm depressed as ****, but not letting my depression take over to the point that I sabotage myself completely. I do have to admit cheating on the cigarette front though. I smoked one this morning. It's a total crutch for me. I need to find a new coping mechanism that calms me down.

                          I skipped breakfast, drank an Atkins shake when I got to work, and haven't started my water yet, but I'm about to go do that right now. No real cravings at least. In fact, I'll have to force myself to eat some lunch.

                            I've been doing really good. I was a little high on my fats yesterday, thus the .5 lb gain this morning I'm going to take my measurements tonight. I'm late on this challenge but I'm going to do it anyway!

                            We had awful news today. My hubby's nephew and his wife lost their twin babies. The funeral is tomorrow and I can't take off on this short of notice. Hubby is leaving tonight to go. So, no gym tonight cuz I want to go home and see him off. Besides, my dern foot won't cooperate with me yet.

                            Anyway, got 48 oz water down and working on the next. Hoping to hit at least 100 oz today.
