    Hi all
    Thanks for the invite to this forum Finelly!

    I'm a 2nd time Atkins peep.
    Actually as a kid I had candida and my Naturopath put me on what is basically the atkins diet to get me off sugar & carbs & starve the yeast. So I know this WOL works - It was hard to keep weight on at that time!

    I'm just finishing up my 2nd week of induction. I am going to extend it a few days until I get all my groceries & kitchen organized. I'm doing the diet with my fiance who has more to lose than I do. So I am in no rush to leap ahead. We are going to do this slow & steady & for life.

    I'm looking forward to swapping recipes and stories
    I've already tried a few of the recipies here and they have been awesome.

    WELCOME aboard! I'm glad you came over.

    Make sure you check out all of the stickies. Feel free to join our various challenges. We are in the middle of a two week Tape-Measure challenge (it's ongoing, every 2 weeks we measure and record the loss). If you want to start now, go to www.mybodycomp.com and get a free account and measure. Or, if you want to weight until our next measure date, that will be next Tuesday.

      Welcome!

      It's always nice to hear of couples working together at their goals. I wish both of you the best of luck, but with a little hard work and determination, you won't need luck at all.

        Welcome Welcome Welcome! Nice you have someone to do this with. My someone is thin and eats anything and stays that way!!!! but, I guess I don't wish him to be big either

          Nice to have someone to do this with. My so could use this...but will never give up his carbs. Thinks if I would only just eat right and excerise I wouldn't need to do this 'Atkins'. Sure am glad I have the support here!
