  • Wednesday STAC Check In!

    Good Morning!!

    Just checking in before I head out for work. This 5AM stuff <yawn> ain't all its cracked up to be.

    I have packed:
    Scoop of Crab for Breakfast
    2 small flax muffins for snack
    Chicken Caesar Salad for Lunch
    80 oz water w/lemon slices

    Curves bag packed for a trip after work.

    Ill be taking in my groceries to begin the year and baking off a few hundred cookies to start.

    I will not eat those cookies hot and fresh out of the oven.

    Why, mumbles Finelly as she tries to pick up her coffee cup, am I up so danged early? WHY did the cats decide to play Trampoline at 4:40? WHY are they now sleeping again and I'm not?

    Some questions simply are unanswerable.

        Morning all! Well its been raining here the past 2 days, makes it hard to walk. Got one walk in yesterday anyway, no runs though (sigh) the scale went up 2.5 lbs for some reason (gonna scream) haven't eaten anything bad so it must be TOM knockin at my door being annoying even though he's not due for a week yet. Gotta hate that selfish bas_ _rd. Huh! I'm gonna show him! I will go measure today! lol

          Happy Hump Day to all Doing well so far......on my second 24oz bottle of water. Had flax cereal for early breakfast at 6 am.

          Real Breakfast: Cheddar/pepperoni omelet w/bacon
          Lunch: 4 ozs of pork chop w/sauteed Green,orange and red peppers
          Dinner: Romaine, cucumber, green pepper salad w/chunks of turkey and
          ranch dressing.

          BTW...last night's dinner out was perfect...sirloin steak, steamed Brocc/cauliflower and a green salad, and 2 huge glasses of water w/lemon. Couldn't finish the steak so I took it home.

          Finelly....I always found it amazing that as active as the cat/cats are when they are trying to get us up, they can pass out into such a deep sleep right after they achieved their goal....must be a "cat thing"

            Top of the morning to everyone.Just checking in before I head off to the gym.Soooo sore today from monday's workout but I guess the best way to get over being sore is working out some more.Oh Well.How is everyone?Wow,Terry and Finelly I don't think I've seen 4 and 5a.m in a very very loooong time.Get some rest FIn.lol

                Well, I just sent my kids off for their first day of school in a new school in a new state and it makes me very sad!

                Still, this is my first day of induction and I'm going to kick butt.

                I've changed my signature line, and I'm going to hit onederland by December 31!

                So stand back and watch the master at work!

                And don't look at me that way.

                    hi all!

                    wednesday post!

                    Today I have my big meeting, then I am going swimming with a friend of mine. Then I'll be packing and off to my friends wedding tomorrow. Luckily, the friend I'm staying with bought a bunch of atkins friendly food so I'll have plenty to eat I hope. Woo! That'll be exciting.

                      I just dropped my oldest off at his new school for the new-kid-reading-math test. My kids don't start school until Sept 6th. I'm about to go do Turbo Jam 20 minute workout and then shower super fast so I can go pick him up by 11.

                      I have to work tonight, so I'll be napping this afternoon. Water intake? Slow going today but I'll get in at least my 80oz.

                      I'm hungry this morning - still haven't eaten and won't eat until after I work out, so I better get to crackin'!

                        happy wednesday. i am taking a break from packing all my stuff. i leave for grad school later today. i'm feeling a little down and out today. you would never know i have gone off to school for 4 years before this haha! i am just being a baby, i know. i still get choked up a bit everytime i say goodbye to home and family. but anyways...everything is running smoothly, atkins-wise. holding steady at 163 for the time being. hope to be well into the 150's by the time by birthday rolls around..oct 2. alright i must get rolling on this whole moving thing. byeeee!

                          Good Morning all!

                          Was up and at em early this morning. Got my hour of excerise done and made up a batch of fresh tomato paste. The garden is overflowing with red tomatoes...needed something to do with them. Seeing how I don't like fresh tomatoes. Although I love everything else made with tomatoes. Just can't get past the tinny taste of them fresh and well the gooeyness

                          Water is going ok...have gotten down about 34 oz. so far. So well on my way to my 90 oz. goal of the day.

                            hey michigangirly -

                            i remember when I started grad school. It feels like 19 thousand years ago but thta's just because I am still there. ;-) I did a masters where I lived, and then moved to Pittsburgh for my ph.d. So, I know what you mean, but it's still a great adventure, and it doesn't last forever! (Even if it sometimes feels like it does)!

                              Hey, checkin' in here.
                              Wednesday is my long day at work; got here at 9 and will be till 9pm. My biggest challenge today is eating the meal I brought, and NOT eating what my office orders out for every Wed. night. It's a little tortourous, the smell of Thai food, or Pizza, or Mexican — they always order something delicious!
                              I'm drinking my water, almost got the first 36oz. down.
                              I was up unaturally early today too — 4am. Had terrible dreams, but at least they weren't about carbs again! LOL!
