    Please hang in there....

    I never thought I would be able to say this, but I broke 130. I'm 129.5 this morning. That is amazing coming from an all time HIGH of 164. (I'm only 5'2").

    I fell off the Atkins wagon more than a few times, but joining the STAC helped me. I know I don't post much, but I felt like I had a place to go, and that I'm part of a group of people who decided to give it another shot.

    I'm going to a wedding over Labor Day, and will take my "after" shot. I bought a "little black dress" and will post my before/after and my story here...and in the "success thread".

    You all can do this. I promise. If anyone needs any support, advice, or just some love...PM me....

    I owe this board a debt I can never repay.

                                      It really is the most amazing thing. I don't know how I did it, but if I had to give one reason it was that I just took ONE day at a time. I didn't get depressed (too often) if the numbers weren't coming down, or if I saw something in the mirror that I didn't like, I just kept telling myself..."it's coming off, and I'm getting smaller". One day, I really saw it, and now I'm full steam ahead to having a body I never thought possible. The really amazing thing is, I used to sleep 15 hours a day, and now I rarely sleep more than 4 or 5 a night. WOW.
