  • OK- kinda yucky question

    Ok, When I did this program years ago I remember having umm, fiber problems I guess... I would get constipated and now I seem to have quite the opposite... ALL the time! Anyone else have this problem? (sorry for the grodie post!)

    It's either one or the other, I find, unless you take flax seed meal (make crackers or cereal with it, it's yummy) or psyllium husks.

    So, yeah, you aren't alone, and that's why we go nuts over new flax recipes!

      I am confused....I definitely DON'T need flax.... No extra help needed here whatsoever!!!!! For the past month or so anyway!

              I am not having a problem either way but then again I have been eating flax seed meal muffins everyday. I did not know that flax seed meal worked both ways though. I was thinking the same thing as Rikki when you said to eat flax seed meal. I thought that was going to make her problem worse. What do I know? I guess I learn things from you guys all the time.

                Fiber is amazing. It is prescribed for chronic diarhea as well as constipation. Go figure!

                  I never needed flax either,my hubbies spinach curry sorta gets things moving to the point that ive counted every flower on my bathroom wallpaper in one sitting lol

                    LOL Sharon.. spinach curry huh?

                    I can attest to fixing THAT problem with flax Loser. My system does the same thing yours does. Prepare some flax muffins or crackers and be sure to have something each day. Doesnt take much.

                        i certainly do

                        2 bunches spinach washed and chopped
                        1 onion finely chopped
                        2 cloves garlic crushed
                        2 green chillies chopped
                        1/2 tsp mustard seeds
                        2tbs olive oil
                        1 tsp cumin powder
                        1tsp coriander powder
                        1/2 tsp red chilli powder
                        a little salt to taste

                        heat oil,add mustard seed and fry till they start popping
                        add onion garlic green chilli and cook on low heat till softening
                        add spinach and all other spices ,stir until spinach is completly coated in spice sauce
                        put on a lid and continue cooking until spinach has wilted...about 15mins
                        ENJOY

                          OK CALL ME STUPID. but i dont know what flax seed is or where to get it. can anyone help me? i always see recipes for it but never knew what it was....thanks

                            you can get it in the grocery store. Usually in the health food section or at a health food store!
