Well, Eve, I know how you feel.

I did not weigh for the first four or five weeks this time around but I was SURE I was losing. I felt fantastic, was eating right.......and one day I decided to step on the scale, and..............hardly anything. I mean, in 4 or 5 weeks, I shoudl have lost at LEAST 10 lbs.........I think i had lost about 5.5.....and there I stayed.....

It's coming off really slowly, and that is a little frustrating, if I only rely on the scale. Luckily, I have always measured every 2 weeks, and the tape measure shows a dramatic change.......

We are going to measure again this coming Tuesday, and I urge you to join us in doing it every 2 weeks. No matter what sucky news the scale tells us, we always are elated with the measurements.......

    Hang in there!

I just looked at my weight loss graph on fitday. Interesting. VERY slow the first 6 weeks, with very little change, then it sped up. I am going to hypothesize that this time around,my body needed to be in ketosis for a long time before starting to really drop the pounds.

Here's some whooshie dust since Finelly covered what I was thinking pretty well!

I know how you feel but hang in there as Finelly says. I too lost during the first two weeks and now haven't budged for the last 15 days. In fact, I went up 3 lbs then back down 1.8 lbs, partly because of my TOM and other unknown reasons for water retention. So with all this happening my total weight loss in 4 wks. is only 4 lbs but it was at 5.2lbs. I am hoping that extra 1.2 plus more comes off with the next whoosie.

I think I am due for a whoosie too but I did start to measure like Finelly said. My first measure in day will be Tues. but it will only be for one weeks change. I was feeling bad about it yesterday but was given some good advice that made me feel better. On top of that, I went out and bought myself two pairs of shoes, three tops, and a purse today. Now I am feeling much better and still waiting for that whoosie.

              ((Eve))

Hang in there. Remember what goes up, must come down.

Keep looking forward from one day to roll into the next into a week, and so on.
