  • Variety is the key to success IMHO

    Hello all

    I have to say that I am not at all bored with Atkins this time (I know I'm only in week two but hey!). I am eating such a variety of foods this time.

    Just ordered two new low carb recipe books and will attempt to try a new dish at least three times a week.

    I am having Beef Bourginion tonight - have a recipe for under 5 net carbs per serving. I'll let you know if it's any good.

    Hi Zarabelle! You are doing great!

    Keep us posted on the recipes you try and if you deem it worthy, add it to the never ending recipe thread in the sticky section. We love to try different ideas!!!!

        Yay, Zarabelle! So many people believe the diet is about eating eggs with their porkrinds every day, and there are so many options out there in this big, wide, wonderful world for us to enjoy!

        I think people are so used to eating from a box, can, or packet that we forget that putting things together in the kitchen doesn't have to be hard, but it definitely tastes better!

        The blessing is that so much of what we make we can share with our familes, knowing they are eating more healthfully as well. My family now eats far more healthfully than when I didn't follow this WOE.

        And there's nothing wrong with that.
