After being depressed that I gained weight during my TOM and all of it didn't come off a few days after like it normally does, I finally went out and bought a tape measure and measured last Tuesday. It was all because of my STAC buddies encouraging me to do so.
Well, I measured today, only one week later and found out that I had lost 2.25" already. 3/4" of that came off my waist and 3/4 off it came off my hips! The rest was in different places. Not only that but today, I finally went back down to my before TOM weight but this time it took 7 days to return back to normal. I am so excited!!!
Now maybe I can experience one of those whoosies that everyone else has. I am so happy with the inches lost that the scale won't mean as much any more. I recommend all scale junkies buy a tape measure and use it. Now I am a believer that the inches come off first before the weight. BTW, I waited over 2-1/2 wks. with no weight loss, which may not seem very long to some of you but it seems like forever to a scale junkie. Now, I have my friend the tape measure.
