  • Re-Starting Re-Induction ;o)

So, after all my half-hearted attempts at starting Atkins, losing 12lbs, gaining 7, losing 6, gaining 3, losing 4...I am attempting it once again! REEEEALY!

This year has been full of WTF's, what nows, not nows, too busies, too poors, one damn thing after another...I will spare you the dramatic details though!

Now, I am going on the end of my third day...full steam ahead!

No flu....no stress...no struggling. Each meal I have had this week...I have said to myself "oh my god, this is SO good!"! So, what the heck has been my problem all those "other" times?!?!?!?!?! TEMPTATION....Kids....beer....Mac & Cheese? Nope...Just me being LAZY! Grumble......

The only real issue I seem to be facing is that it seems slower than all the other times combined But, I keep on keeping on!

Thanks to all of you and your inspiration...you are all amazing to me

    Last time?

    This time?

Your story sounds strangely similar to mine, & your starting weight, current weight & goal weight are almost identical to mine, strange . You sound very determined to this time, that is great. You will find all the help & encouragement you need here, I know i have. Have you use this board before?

                  Awww sweety you'll be OK!

It's your own motivation that will keep you strong....
and isn't step one for EVERYTHING to be able to
                  admit your mistakes!?

I cheated this weekend too....Rich and I went to the
NY State Fair and besides the wine slushie that I had
...I had a DEEP FRIED TWINKIE! Now that's enough to
make anyone cheat...I don't care who you are!

                  And yes....it was YUMMY!

They also had...are you ready for this.....deep fried Oreos
and deep friend Snickers bars...but, I could control myself
                  over those!
