  • This is (cough, cough)my 4th attempt!

    I have been doing a prepackaged food plan that is 60% carbs. I will give myself any old excuse to keep bingeing and yo-yoing. My current excuse has been that I just loaded up on the "diet" food and don't want to waste the money. I have been thinking about this all day and while I was at work I said to **** with this....Im sick of being a slave to carbs. I will sell my stuff(I have a friend that also does the prepackaged thing)and start Atkins tomorrow. All this came after a horrible binge that was triggered by the snack I had on the other plan (carrot cake). I dont want to live like this anymore. I want to live a healthy, active life that is free from the imprisonment of binge eating. I know that Atkins WOE can help me attain this. I always have a VERY difficult time making it past the first 3 days. The cravings are pretty intense at times. I went to the grocery store and stocked up on Atkins friendly foods and Im ready to start tomorrow. I am actually going to start at dinner tonight, but officially it will be tomorrow. I will do this because I am worth this. I will be looking to this board for much needed support over the next week or so. I need to sit down and re-read the book. Off and running!! See ya soon.

    Hi, Corinna and welcome to ADBB!

    The diet industry sure has a lot of us thinking that to follow Atkins we have to eat the pre-packaged foods! I know I was an early-on slave to ice cream bars and to the chocolates!

    Here's to doing it right!

        4th attempt, 2nd attempt, or 100th attempt the point is you haven't given up and are giving it a go!!! I am so proud of you!!! You have a great attitude and I know you will be successful!
