I am so pleased I thought I'd share with you all, I started my 're-induction'
a couple of weeks back but found out that I was eating some hidden
sugars and had to re-start. These hidden sugars made me feel
gutted as I thought I was totally clean .

Well 5 days ago I reduced my cheese to 1 oz per day and cut
back on Mayo and have been in dark ketosis, eliminated any hidden
sugars, drunk like a fish, 45 mins of hard cardio daily, stuck to plan
and I've lost 2 lbs, feel great and so much energy. This does'nt sound
alot but it good going for me, I notice every pound (so do my clothes).

Have had a few tempting cravings in the evenings which have
been so tough, but it always is in the evenings for me.

I'm so pleased and feel so euphoric; daily I am waking up and
noticing a difference. I was really down before, wondering if I
was ever going to feel good again – what a turnaround.

I go back to work next week after some time off and I was
wondering if I could actually face the pressures and demands
but now I'm ready to battle work and be up at 5.30 with my
1 year old, phew what a relief...can't afford to give up!

Thank-you all for your support, it is invaluable to me .

GREAT!!!!!!!!!! Good job figuring out what was going wrong!

One small thing, though: "Dark ketosis" just means that you aren't drinking enough water (unless you are only measuring first thing in the morning). ANY shade of pink or purple means you are in ketosis - it's like pregnancy. You are or you aren't. There are no degrees of it.
    Started Atkins 2d time 6/20/05

    Measuring every 2 weeks
As of 10/31/05, losta total of 56.75 inches!

Minimum 45 min cardio per day

Hi and thanks, it's very really satisfying at the moment.

Wow I am suprised at that. I know when I was a medical student the range
was quite significant , anyhow I am most pleased to see any response as I
was beginning to think my body had shifted in to dormant mode!

I drink a minimum of 200 oz a day, if I go to the loo anymore I may aswell
      stay on it!
