  • Back, sort of

    Hi there,

just wanted to check in with you STACkers out there. An hour ago I returned home from an unplanned stopover at the hospital for similarly unplanned surgery. Since anesthetics & I don't go well together, any kind of anesthesia is a matter of life or death. Aw shucks. My body aches. Talk about glucose drip, tons of antiobiotics and meds I can hardly spell... my body chemistry is messed up big time. I feel B-L-O-A-T-E-D.

At least I didn't gain, mustered the courage to step on the scale this morning and I'm still at 211 lbs, although the food choices in the last days were more than poor.

As soon as I can stand on my own feet again I'll start walking again... right now I cannot sit or stand or walk... but I am grabbing a water bottle right now. Still have to swallow lots of antibiotics... ugh.

I'll have to check with my HMO for some kind of allergy rotation elimination diet thingy over the next few weeks - involving probably dreaded foods like oats rice & applesauce - at least something I can afford, now with additional medical bills Anyway, I'll report back here as often as possible.

(The BF made to-die-for macadamia waffles for me. REAL food! *yummie*)
