  • Exercise Challenge

    Anyone up for an exercise challenge?

    I need to focus in on this part a little more. I was doing so good, but have gotten a little lazy with it. My first goal is to do atleast 30 minutes of exercise no less than 4 times per week. I'd like to start reporting exercise back here with my STAC buddies.

    Any takers?

      Whenever you are ready Zarabelle . I started yesterday with tracking my exercise. I go from Monday to Sunday. Atleast 4 times per week. Its our own personal goals, but we can start an exercise check in thread each day (used to be one a while back) and report our progress. "I did X amount of exercise today" or something like that.

      For example:

      I took a thirty minute walk yesterday, while pushing a 27 pound toddler in a stroller.
      Today, I hope to either take another walk or do the 2 Mile WATP video (or Taebo, still debating).

      What do you think? Open to suggestions everyone!

          I am up for the challenge. I have gotten slack on the exercise too. I will shoot for 30 minutes times a week to start. I will post after I exercise to keep honest. I may need motivation!!!

                Not to take away from your exercise challenge, but maybe, instead, all STAC members can form a 'team' and enter the 6-week exercise challenge in The Exercise Challenge Section. One is about to start again next week.

                The journalling section/forum has a 'team' of sorts and their goal is always to hit the top three places. You could go for the gusto, and even win some pretty sweet props for STAC, especially if you can wrest the win away from those hard-working journallers!

                Skyye keeps track of everyone, and since it's already in place, it makes life much easier for everyone.

                It's just a thought--don't smack me. I'm a fragile little onion.

                    Cleo, thanks for sharing that idea. I will look into it. I guess I'm not looking for something that structured, but more of a post on here saying, hey guess what, exercised today for 30 minutes. I don't know

                    Thoughts fellow exercise challengers???

                          Thanks Cleo I need to educate myself on what is going down in the exercise challenge forum. I'm not sure how the challenges work and that probably leads to keeping my distance from it. I will read up on it over there. I would consider joining a STAC exercise challenge though.

                              I thnk three times a week is a great start!! I'm going to do no less than 30 mins 4 times per week. More if I can.
