    <YAWN>

    Five a.m. Have coffee. Dh in shower. Cats fed. Kids not yet up. Quiet.

    Today is gonna be a good day. Once I wake up!

    I'm still 200 lbs. I'm retaining water. For the nth day in a row. I think I'll go for 100 oz today. See if that helps. If not, well, "this, too, shall pass", lol.

    We spent yesterday evening moving my younger son into my older daughter's bedroom - she got her own place so now he gets his own room - yippee! We will NOT discuss the crap she left all over that I had to sweep up!!!!! Anyway, his room looks great, he's a happy camper, and that's a good thing.

    I noticed, however, that I am utterly exhausted when I get home, and this is NOT a good thing. And I attribute it to lack of exercise at the gym. Although I do a lot of walking at work, and do some laps during recess, it's not what my body needs to keep fueled and strong. It's been 2 weeks and I still don't have a regular exercise routine after having been so faithful during the summer. My priorities are skewed, as well. When I come home this drained, and faced with the choice of driving to the gym and cleaning up the house, I pick the house. NOT good.

    I will probably not work out today or tomorrow, given my state of tiredness, but my goal next week is to make it to the gym at least 3 days. And I will also work out both days on the weekend. I'm guessing that the lack of exercise is also one reason for the long "pause" I'm in at the verge of Onederland. Not to mention water retention.

    I hope everyone has a fantastic day! It's good to be going to a job I love.

    I'm sure once you get back into the swing of things your body will adjust. But...going to the gym three times is a great goal....one I'm sure you will make. Get that water in..... more water in = more water out. Have a great day.

      Hang in there Fin!!!!

      Thursday is going good for me. I got my exercise in yesterday (woo hoo!). Feeling a little hungrier today . But otherwise on track.

        Already at work, but not really awake. Bad night as far as sleeping.

        Packed a nice breakfast..mushroom mozzarella omelet w/bacon and for my snack pepperoni, celery and a hardboiled egg. Dinner might be London Broil and I'm going to try the Roasted Cauliflower recipe....then later fit in a salad. Of course lots and lots of water

        Have a doctors appt today...hopefully by the test results he can figure out why I retain fluid and why my legs/feet always swell. I actually hope he found "something".

          Hi All

          Having a good day - went to the gym at lunch time (40 mins cardio). Came home and wanted some food - openened my fridge and it was almost bare! I made a delicious, filling lunch from leftovers! Fried some chicken, bacon and garlic added half a leek, 3 mushrooms and a courgette (I think you call it a zucchini) and then 4 ozs cream cheese. It was scrummmmmmmmy!!!

          Going shopping later though to stock up - I don't even have any eggs!
