    Not bondage. B-o-n-d-i-n-g.

I have a story about miscommunication, but I'll save it for another time.

    So, how's it going?

What phase are you currently following?

What's the highlight of the phase you're in?

    Any bummers about the phase?

Where do you plan to go from the phase you're in?

    So, how's it going?
Good, so far - 7 pounds during induction and another 2 in the past 2 weeks.

What phase are you currently following?
I am starting my 4th week, staying around 20 carbs, so I guess you would say extended-induction.

What's the highlight of the phase you're in?
I am rarely hungry and when I am not losing pounds, I am losing inches (not necessarily at the same time)

    Any bummers about the phase?
Eating out is not near as much fun.

Where do you plan to go from the phase you're in?
I plan on staying here until I reach pre-maintenance, with the exception of some variety from the various OWL rungs every once it a while.

      So, how's it going?
Great! (Yes, I have a kidney infection and yes, I'm retaining so much water that my fingers and toes look like rolls of quarters, but it's a lot better than being FAT). I'm happy, energetic, and serene. I'm at peace with the slow progress and the fact that I'm stuck around 200 lbs is VERY reminiscent of the last time around, when I sat here for EVER. And then zipped down to 188 in no time.......

What phase are you currently following?

I'm on the first rung of OWL and will probably stay here for awhile. I just don't crave any of the other stuff on the other rungs right now.

What's the highlight of the phase you're in?
It's pretty much the same as induction, except more veggies. I like induction. I have energy and the food is simple. Oh, and my skin is glowing, no breakouts......

      Any bummers about the phase?
THere's nothing for me to bum about eating eggs, cheese, and lots of veggies. NOTHING!

Where do you plan to go from the phase you're in?
To DISNEYLAND! No, seriously, i guess up a notch to, what, dairy? Or berries?

So, how's it going? Its going! Its going! Slow but sure..10 lbs a month

What phase are you currently following? OWL

What's the highlight of the phase you're in? Freedom to eat more things (less food boredom)

Any bummers about the phase? Can't lose weight eating chocolate

Where do you plan to go from the phase you're in? ..working towards Onederland, then will see how that goes, I have looked 150 to 160 lbs at 200 lbs before, hope the same rings true this time. If that happens, I may make 180 my goal, if I lose too much, my rib cage sticks out...ugh

Today, not so good. Am working from home today because this cold I've been battling for a few days is finally getting the best of me. My energy is zapped, my sinuses are stuffed, and my head feels like it weighs 1000lbs. Owwww.

What phase are you currently following?
          OWL. Berries.

What's the highlight of the phase you're in?
That if I had to stop right here, I'd be totally ok with that? The amount of variety in this phase at this rung totally satisfies me, which is probably why I plan to stick here for a while.

          Any bummers about the phase?
Trying to find your CCLL is hard!

Where do you plan to go from the phase you're in?
I'm going to stick where I am until I find my CCLL, and then I'll continue to climb the rungs. I'm only 25lbs away from goal, so within the next 10lbs or so, I'd like to be through most of the rungs and heading into pre-maintenance.

            So how's it going?

Good so far. Lost 2 lbs (water but hey - I'll take it) since yesterday and no sign of the flu yet.

What phase are you currently following?

I'm on day two of induction (second time around)

What's the highlight of the phase you're in?

Hmmmm. Freedom from carb bondage. I can think clearly once again.

            Any bummers about the phase?

Induction flu may hit me and I'm askaird of it.

Where do you plan to go from the phase you're in?

I think I'll move onto OWL after induction. I tried extended induction the first time around, but I think part of my downfall was that I was a bit bored. I didn't think I was but why was I looking outside my phase for extracarbital excitement? CruiserGal is so enthused about it and she's doing so great, I think I'll try it out, even though I'm askaird of that too.

Re: Time for a mo' o bonding

              So, how's it going?
Pretty well... I've been sticking to it really well, started exercising when I felt better this week (I was sick last week). Not having a lot of cravings and no real desire to hop off the wagon for french fries or anything. I've lost a pound and a half in my week of reinduction (although i did gain a pound and a half that first day, so you *could* argue that I've lost 3!).

What phase are you currently following?
(re)-Induction. One week down! I was doing extended induction/owlish but then fell off for about three weeks. Now Back to induction!

What's the highlight of the phase you're in?
Let's see.. steaks! Haha! Actually it's this: my fingernails are strong and growing fast again, my hair is glowing, i've lost that baby-fat layer look that I had going on there for a while, I'm starting to be able to see my collarbones finally. I've got more exercise, and I've rediscovered my motivation to work!

              Any bummers about the phase?
I dont have a lot of money so I eat a lot of the same things. Plus, I like to have a beer here or there (low carb, of course) and I can't do that right now.

Where do you plan to go from the phase you're in?
As soon as I hit 129 and stay there for a while, I'm hitting OWL. I will stay under 20 carbs I think til I hit 125. Then, I"ll tailor it off so that I lose the last five pretty slowly, adding in more food as I go. I'm also planning on upping the exercise, and I think that will help me lose the weight and maintain it as well.

                So, how's it going?
Pretty good thanks. Lost 9 pounds on induction then 2.5 pounds over the next two weeks and stayed the same this week (obviously not so happy about that!)

What phase are you currently following?

Modified OWL - seeds and nuts rung

What's the highlight of the phase you're in?
So much variety of food. I am eating so much healthier since I started this WOE again. Lots of salad and veg and now seeds too.

                Any bummers about the phase?
                No

Where do you plan to go from the phase you're in?
Up to rung four next week. I will probably then pause for a while on rung five and then go up if I get bored of my food options.

Thanks for asking Cleo! I had two compliments today - the manager in my local winebar said I looked ravishing today and my friend said how great I'm looking. Certainly keeps you going when people start noticing.

                  Hey Cleo.

                  So, how's it going?
                  I just re-restarted yesterday..but it's going. Down 1.4lbs...so I'm happy!!

What phase are you currently following?
Induction...does it matter that this is the 3rd time?

What's the highlight of the phase you're in?
All of the love and support!! I have gotten more encouragement yesterday than I have EVER gotten before in my life!!!! You guys rock!

                  Any bummers about the phase?
Yea..I'm a BIG sugar addict. I have problems w/ my blood sugar as it is, so I've got the shakes....but I know they got away.. can we say withdrawls??

Where do you plan to go from the phase you're in?
I'm going to move to extended induction.

                    Sadly, still struggling.

What phase are you currently following?
                    Re-Induction

What's the highlight of the phase you're in?
There isn't a lot of fuss. Its simply: You can have this. You cannot have this.

                    Any bummers about the phase?
Im not the best cook, so not a lot of variety.

Where do you plan to go from the phase you're in?
Will try to stay on extended induction for a while.

                        So, how's it going?
Hey, I'v lost 16 lbs so far!!! Most of it was on induction, but i can see a pattern of how i lose so i'm less frustrated with stagnating and losing pounds only at certain times. No sugar substitutes this time around is keeping the cravings away ...Hurray!!!!

What phase are you currently following?
                        Extended-Induction

What's the highlight of the phase you're in?
I like the food and I'm not usually hungry...at this point i don't eat very much during the day
                        Any bummers about the phase?
I'm not as ambitious about cooking up variety for myself in the last few weeks so some of my meals are the same everyday...this could become 'boring' and lead me astray...oh no...right now my 'routine foods' are things that i really like but when i plan out family meals i jot down some Atkin's things that i could be having, so option ideas are in front of me on paper, although not necessarily in my fridge.

Where do you plan to go from the phase you're in?
I'm happy here on extended induction, maybe after losing another 20 lbs I'll get to OWL...nuts /berries may give me more variety...but I lose weight slowly so I don't want to change what's working now...Maybe the next 'phase' for me is to be more consistent and obsessive about excercising.

                        Have a great day!

So, how's it going? Depends on the moon's cycle...at the moment, it's going okay.

What phase are you currently following? OWL

What's the highlight of the phase you're in? Trying more recipes with a little more added ingredients to play with.

Any bummers about the phase? Wishing too hard that the pounds will just fall off faster....like a dog loses his fur in the summer time; pounds move off slow, but the inches have left with the exercise. That's a good thing.

Where do you plan to go from the phase you're in? October 1st, back into Induction for two weeks, then move up the ladder in OWL. Not becaues of any thing I've eaten out of the context of moving up the OWl, but I think a nice little fresh start would be nice for the month.

                              So, how's it going?

                              Up until yesterday, fine.

What phase are you currently following?
I'm still on Extended Induction. Now I just totted up the time I've been on it and realised I'm into the 4th month of it. But I'm scared of those veggies to move on. I figured that I would have probably lost more than I have (largely my own fault I've had a lousy cheating summer).I went straight back into EI after being on holiday and not following the plan whilst I was away.

What's the highlight of the phase you're in?
I still feel much better than before I started wide awake. And oddly enough I just love drinking the water!

                              Any bummers about the phase?
I think I've been on it too long. But I'm scared to move on in case I stop this slow loss. The thought of eating nuts and berries traumatises me, I hate nuts (me no cavewoman not not not, yeuch, keep those peanuts away!!!!!, strawberry allergy, hives oh no)

Where do you plan to go from the phase you're in?
I'm going to have to move on aren't I? I'm finally getting bored with the phase I'm in. Yesterdays high-carb shopping order haunted me all day. I was on my own in the house and wanted to pig out. Why I don't know. I didn't touch a thing that was illegal. I'll have to re-read the first OWL rung in the book and just pray I don't stop losing the few onces I am doing.
