Re: Prayers Please - May Have to Evacuate

I just wanted to check in and tell everyone that we made it back yesterday. As you know, Houston and Galveston was spared the storm so all we had were a bunch of limbs down - no damage.

Our evacuation was a nightmare. I spent 31 hours on the road to get to Shreveport (250 miles from Houston). I was afraid to eat or drink because it was hours between places to use the restroom if you could find something open. I was so dehydrated when we got to Shreveport I was having trouble focusing. My 10 year old son was a trooper - never complained and all he had was water and some chips for 31 hours. I didn't even try to stick to anything low carb once we were there, so I will be getting back into ketosis starting tomorrow.

Thank-you for your kind words and prayers and I hope you never have to experience anything like this!
