    Good morning!

    I'm still retaining water, so I haven't bothered to weigh. But my kidney is feeling better and I'm sleeping like a baby due to the antibiotics.....

    I've got the news on and am very concerned about those in STACked (and elsewhere) who are having to evacuate due to Hurricane Rita. My prayers and thoughts are with you, even if you don't have access to computers.

    I feel good. After work today, we're all going to go work out. I've got a lovely spinach lasagna ready for dinner. Lunches are packed. As a teacher, I have 25 min for lunch, most of which I spend talking to parents (I like to call about the good stuff) and making copies, so I eat little bites throughout the day. Having a good variety of things available in my lunch container is helpful.

    I hope everyone is safe and well, and that we all have a great day.

      Good Morning everyone! Doing well so far..but it's early Beautiful day today and that always helps.

      I was a little behind on water yesterday for the first time in ages...felt it too...swelled up more than usual. I will make up for it today.

      It's a "two job" day today so I packed all 3 meals and a snack..usual breakfast of bacon and eggs, steak salad for lunch, Pork Rind breaded pork chop and broccoli for dinner...swiss and pepperoni for a snack...all that should keep me going

      My prayers and thoughts are with everyone being threatened by Rita...stay safe.

        Hey fin, wha'ts the recipe for the spinach lasagna? I have spinach and ground beef, and could go buy the rest. I'm kind of sick of my usual foods right now!

        My day is....eh.

        I went to bed at 5 am - was working til 3 and then i was doing the crossword puzzle since i oculdn't sleep.

        And then, 9 am this morning... men with ladders. Clambering up the sides of my house. ARGH. So 4 hours of sleep. I'm having coffee. Nothing to be done about it, have a deadline tomorrow!

        other than that, i'm at 130 now, that makes 2 (or 3.5 depending on how you look at it) pounds lost in 1.5 weeks. yay!

              There isnt enough room to tell you what I am in the middle of right now but I came on this afternoon to see how everyone is doing.

              I was so excited that I just posted a thread that I think I am in the middle of a big whoosh... pretty darned happy about that I tell ya!!

              Knick, sorry your day isnt so great. You have been pretty busy yourself. Hope you get some sleep pretty soon!

              Fin...... glad you are feeling better. Good things come to those who wait so you are due for a HUGELY good thing arent you?!!! Cant wait for that YAHOO post you are going to be doing here pretty soon.
