    Hi Guys

    Sorry I haven't checked in for two days - it's been hectic.

    On Friday night, I went out for a curry with some ex-colleagues. I had one of those awful times getting ready trying on every outfit in my wardrobe and rejecting everything as it made me look fat..... nightmare...... I almost ended up bursting in to tears - it wasn't good.

    Anyway, I finally set off and had compliments on my outfit which helped my confidence. I stuck to the plan at the restaurant so that was all good.

    On Saturday, we had friends over for a BBQ. I resisted all the crisps etc. and had a (carb free) burger with a flax burger bun - delicious. Also had some buffulo mozerella and chilli salad. Delicious.

    Yesterday I spend caring for my little baby daughter (5.5 months) who has caught a horrible cold and couldn't sleep all of Saturday night. She is still poorly today. We are both going to try and catch up on some sleep today as she woke at least once an hour last night again poor thing.

    Anyway, the scale is moving in the right direction, the inches are coming off and the ketostix are turning purple so it's all good on the Atkins front.

    Wow, you have been busy, and WELL DONE for sticking to your plan!

    I hope your daughter is better today. When a baby is sick it is the worst, because they can't TELL you anything, and they suffer so!

    Well, I woke up this a.m. to another pound lost - I'm now at 197.5, which thrills me!

    Got lunches ready, having my first cup of coffee, and we'll be out of the house soon on our way to our various schools. I have a staff meeting after school today so I don't know if I'll be able to work out tonight, but that's ok.

    Yesterday's trip to the mall with my daughters was a blast. We had lunch at the California Pizza Kitchen - I had a half caesar salad and some artichoke spinach dip (without chips). Yummy! I also went to Sephora and splurged on some new lip gloss and a lip liner.

    We got back in time to do a grocery run, so I cooked last night and we are all ready with meals for the week.

    If I wasn't doing Atkins.....
    - I'd have been too tired after the mall to go to the grocery store, much less cook in the evening!
    - I would be really groggy this morning instead of raring to go
    - I wouldn't be wearing these jeans, which are size 14 and not too tight!

      Wow Finelly - you are doing so well! My size 18 jeans are too tight at the moment which is sooooo frustrating. I know if I stick to it, they should be comfortable (and too big) in no time.

      Thanks for your good wishes for my daughter. Unfortunately, she is still not well and is very grumpy with it. She's just settled down for a sleep so hopefully will feel a bit better when she wakes up.
