  • Hello....again, and again, and again.

Just had to pop in to the STAC group here and jump on the fluffy pillows of fun with the rest of ya.

Going up the OWL rungs was fun and quite a great experiment to see what I can do with food...yep, eating was one of them.

So, here I am back to Induction to see if I can get a nice BIG jump start again and see my January 1, 2006 goal of 195. And I'm loving reading everyone's post here in STAC...makes ya feel all warm and fuzzy.

Here's to a great fresh start starting today!

I know, but it's just that warm fuzzy feeling of "belonging" when your in a certain level of this WOE...instead of just being "out there". Thanks for taking me in

Re: Hello....again, and again, and again.

Hi, I'm new to this board. I'm on the second time around w/Atkins. I had huge success in 2003 and got down to a weight I never dreamed possible. Over the next year I gained it all back :-( Now hardly anything fits and my favorite outfits are getting dusty in the closet. I'm on day 3 of induction and haven't lost any weight yet. But I'm not giving up! I'm making healthy choices and that's the most important part. Tonight we went to Red Lobster and instead of having a margarita (or two), coconut shrimp, half the bread basket, a baked potato, and a slice of key lime pie (I'm drooling just reading this!), I had cesar salad w/no crutons, 1/2 a salmon filet, steamed broccoli, and water. Small steps, right?
                Don't get mad, get even.

inkiri- you did great!!! Stay away from the scales for a week or two--- You will be suprised with the results!!! If you can't stay away from them at least don't get discouraged if they don't move- oh, and get a tape measure!

                    Welcome inkiri!

You did a great job at Red Lobster last night!

Check out the stickeys at the top of the forum as they can be very helpful to you during induction. And I highly reccomend staying off the scale for that first two weeks.

Fin................. Nope..... although I think a few of those pillows are beginning to smell like ice cream, strawberry ice cream to be exact. We have french fry smelling ones??? Are you holding out on me???
