How many meals have you eaten today? I'm asking because 696 calories is very low for an adult.

This was just after lunch. I also ate a slice of roasted pepper, 2 slices of roasted eggplant, a slice of roasted onion, and less than a teaspoon of hummus.

This puts me, so far, at

I don't need to remind you that legumes, like the kind that hummus is made from is off-limits during Induction.

Aside from that, you'll need to estimate how many veggies you have left for your supper. Depending on the slices of eggplant and onion, you can well be up to 1/2 to 1 cup for the other veggie list.

So for supper, you need to eat a protein and depending on your daily veggie amounts a cup of the "salad" veggies.

Just try to keep this in mind. You don't need to add "alot" of fat to your meals because many meats have a good amount of fat and that fat counts towards your daily percentages. A whole boiled egg has almost the "perfect" ratios. So adding a tablespoon of butter or mayo is guilding the lily and completely unnecessary from a ratio point of view.

Also, I'm going to move this thread out of the 14 Day Induction Forum to the Second Time Around Forum.

I like Fitday and I think it is a helpful guide, but there are some areas that Fitday is guessing and can't be accurate so don't take it too seriously. The most important factor in finding success on Atkins is to follow Dr Atkins instructions to the absolute letter. Eat only the foods on the acceptable foods lists in the correct amounts and you can't go wrong.

Don't forget to drink a ton of water. Water is key on this diet. Other than that, 77% fat is fine - just make sure you're eating at least 75g of protein a day

              201/180/160 or washboard abs (8-10% BF) - restarted 1/18/2006
              YOU MUST DRINK YOUR WATER!
