  • My Tip after 7 days

    It's been 7 days and I'm down around 5 kilos. I'm really happy about this and I plan on fighting forward.

    In the morning, I am always happy about the diet and in the evening I always want to quit. I realized this is just natural for me and I suspect that many people also have this feeling. Doubt is always with me, but highest in the evening.

    I solve this by talking myself down, recognizing in a few hours I'll be asleep and avoiding the kitchen. Often I will eat something spicey like a hot pepper to give me some flavor and if that fails, I will drink water flavored with a small, very small amount of lemon with a sugar subtitute. It's a last resort but better than giving in to a craving.

    I hope someone else can find this useful.

      Well done on your weight loss. Great tip. I know what you mean about loving it in the morning and hating it in the evening. I am rarely hungry in the evening. When I started this WOE, I was convinced that it was just that I didn't want any of the legal foods. Now I realise that I prefer a big breakfast, medium sized lunch and a small dinner (usually soup). I think this is a healthy way to eat anyway as you burn off the food throughout the day.

      Hang on in there - I'll bet you'll love it in the evening too soon.

        I try my best to either excersice in the evening, or have some activity that makes me move around. It helps me not focus on food as much. A main part of anything we try to accomplish is knowing yourselve and how we respond in different situations. It sounds like you know yourselve,and I know you will figure it out. Good luck.
